Worst hotel

Hotel staffs are not cooperative. I asked them to arrange couple of things like printout but they couldn't do it and made a lot of lame excuses.

Hotel needs a revamp

The hotel is located almost in the slums. Receptionist was too busy to attend to us. Even forgot to direct us to the room. Wall paint was chipping off in the room . the via had slums everywhere. Contrary to the address, the hotel is bad. The extension cord was ancient, the coffee maker had 20 cm wire. Very uncomfortable stay.

Poor Service, Unpleasant Behaviour

The room Service was horrible. In spite of reminding 4 times, the order could not be served. The reception staff was not co-operative. Even after several requests, they did not provide the stay bill (as the booking was done through Hotels.com).

Excellent hotel!

Excellent hotel and service. We stayed here for two nights, the hotel is in an ok location, easy to get a rickshaw or taxi to get around, but it is a fair distance from the main part of the city. The staff are friendly and speak very good English. WiFi is available at a cost, would be nice if it was free! Breakfast was good. All in all we had a good stay here, and would stay again.

good hotel, exellent breakf with poor room setvice

i stayed at Ramada Powai for one night on 9th march ,booked through Hotels.com.payment was made and got confirmation from hotels.com. after reaching hotel i was informed by the front off manager that they do not have any booking . i have shown the confirmation paper. he asked me to wait then asked ID,then my credit card...finally i got in.it took 15 min. the toom was good with no view...boiler and stp/wtp view. the fridge was empty with no drinks. called room service twice....no reply. all of sudden electricity problem and no one was there to attend. morning no room service....i have to calll thrice for tea.. break fast was too good...staff was very helpful ....very clean hotel but location through dirty roads over all looking into price and room size...it is fine

A good base

Pros: It's a good 'western style' corporate hotel. Not a lot of character but hey I was there on business.
Location: Mumbai is a big place and while the hotel is relatively near the airport it's about 30km and 90 minutes from south Mumbai and the Gateway to India.
I was in Mumbai for a conference at the nearby Renaissance. The Ramada was half the price and provided all I wanted. Clean, quiet, comfortable, good (mainly Indian style) food, good staff, good quality without to my mind the pointless opulence of pricier hotels. Separate Skky restaurant good. Pool good. The walled grounds are not extensive and given over to the approach, parking, conference centre/Skky and pool. The surrounding area is a typical Mumbai community with lots of street life and interesting driving. Walked around quite a bit and as a bloke felt completely safe..
