Great place to finish our trip to India.Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable bed, Air conditioned (quiet), large room with furniture and space for clothing and a large bathroom with shower.
Cons: Breakfast is uninspiring as it only offers cereals, toast/jam and eggs done as omelette, fried or poached. Adequate but not value for money.
Location: Situated in a quiet tree lined street behind the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Within easy walking distance to the Gateway of India and the street markets.
Having spent some time travelling in India in budget hotels it was a welcome relief to end up for our last few days in relative comfort and grace before returning to the UK. It is difficult to remain objective as the previous accommodation was not as comfortable or air conditioned or had a wardrobe for clothing. It was perhaps overpriced for what you got, but Mumbai is expensive for accommodation generally. The staff were very friendly and helpful and added to the experience there.

Right in the center of everythingPosted Oct 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was right in the center of everything and cheaper than the Taj. A nice area to wander around at night time with street markets and bars dotted through the area. The hotel itself is clean, friendly and safe.

A good option in a good area.Posted Jan 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a really good place to stay. The room was large and clean with a fairly good bathroom and it is in a great area behind the Taj Mahal Hotel and about 2 minutes walk from the Gateway to India. There are also some great bars and restaurants in the immeadiate vicinity. While there isn't a massive selection for breakfast, the eggs are delicious and they are cooked fresh and hot any way you like them. The only downside we encountered was that the hotel was next to a club of some sort that did functions and we were on the top floor next to an open air-party area. The night we checked in there was a party which had extremely loud music which seemed to gg straight through our closed windows and wall (it did finish by about 11pm however).

Location, Location!Posted Jan 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is located behind the world famous Taj Palace Hotel and about 3 blocks to India Gate. Other tourist sites are in easy distance. Room was clean and service was good. It included daily breakfast, sheet & linen changes and room cleaning. Staff was helpful. Wi-Fi free on lobby computer or minimal charge for own laptop. Good restaurants nearby. Not too far from train station but about an hour to airport.
Mumbai VisitPosted Jan 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel stay could be better than I experienced. I have concerns for two major issues (1) Bed sheets were not very clean. I noticed spots on bedsheets and covers (2) AC did not work well. It was warm in room. It was pleasant sleeping in room.

Overall great.Posted Dec 29, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff and good bathrooms. Also high standard of cleanliness. Laundry service was excellent too!
Cons: The noise from traffic outside and inside from other guests.
Location: Fantastic location!
Good hotel in great location. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. The bathrooms also great. Only issue was the noise both from outside from traffic and inside by other guests banging doors at 3am. Would definately stay here again though.

courteous staff, with excellent location.Posted Dec 12, 2012
hotel rooms are old and the maintenance is poor. quality of tea served is hopeless from and indian stand point, and also there was hardly anything on the menu for an vegetarian person like me.The linen were also of poor quality. The good things about the hotel are excellent location, nice and decent staff, and prompt service.
