Pros: View
Cons: Everything was pretty much fine.
Location: Relax by the sea. Shop around.
The staff is Courteous. Great food at Vista, Good service both at room service as well as resturants. Checkin was quick, so was the check out. The sea facing room was a visual treat as well as relaxing.

Location: Nice place to go shopping and dining.
We had a nice stay - staff was friendly and helpful. Room was facing the sea had a nice view - particularly when it was raining.

Pros: Everything Location, cleanliness, the gym and most of all the staff
Cons: Maybe need to clean the elevators
Location: There is Santacruz and Linking Road for shopping and the See link bridge to take you to Mumbai
We have been staying at this hotel even before it was taken over by TATA and have no regrets. Would not stay anywhere else while in Mumbai We have also stayed at the Taj in Dubai and. The Taj Palace in Hyderabad

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. A great bell captain by the name of Cyrus went out of his way to assist me with receiving a courier package before I had to leave. My only complaint would be it is pretty expensive to eat and take a hotelcar around. Also charging for internet is always annoying to me. Overall happy with my stay.

Disappointing staff in some, not all areas

Pros: Location was great. really lively, nice area. Shop, spa experiences really good. Room decor fantastic.
Cons: Staff attitude in some areas.
Location: really nice, local area to walk around and experience. a good hour from the bottom of the peninsula, but a fascinating drive.
We booked a Taj Club Room. The cleaning, spa, travel desk and shop staff were really excellent - very professional and welcoming. The check in staff and Taj Club Lounge staff all had really bad attitudes, the smallest request was met with a pained look. The Club staff just told us to go downstairs and sort it ourselves. Poolside the staff seemed totally inflexible to do anything outside their job descriptions - the poor food/drinks guy was left to take 40 minutes to deliver a drink as his 3 colleagues would not assist. Very, very disappointing from The Taj (my sixth Taj hotel). Room was excellent and hotel facilities good. Staff arrogant and disinterested. Fascinating to listen to the personal argument going on by a staff member with their partner on the phone from the middle of the Taj Club. So unprofessional. Not really what I needed on holiday. I won't stay here again.

Indian food at its best and heavenly hospitalit

I have stayed at top hotels in many great cities of the world... This stay in Mumbai was the best. It is 15 minutes away from the airport, located in a wonderful part of Mumbai called Bandra. I arrived very early in the morning, around 7am. Clearly it was too early to check in, but they did their best to accommodate and I was given a room around 10 AM. While waiting I took full advantage of the swimming pool, gym, and steam room. After a long haul flight from Tokyo, this was the best way to rejuvenate. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is unparalleled, simply the best that you will find in Mumbai. Nightlife can be awesome in Bandra, while one could easily pass the entire day at the hotel, day after day. There was no request that I made that was not met. They do their best to accommodate you. The staff was well-trained, polite, polished, presentable. Other hotels in India could do well to learn from the Taj. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are very small and definitely need to be maintained better. Otherwise very good hotel.
