Almost the best hotel in Mumbai. I've recently stayed at several hotels within Mumbai and other cities, and this hotel is by far the best. Rooms have a great panorama view. If you're going to stay here, don't forget to check out top roof bar on Friday & Saturday. I've been searching for a great place in Mumbai to have fun on a weekend night, visited several nightclubs etc. I didn't know they have so far the best bar / club at the top.

The hotel is located at a great place. But the view to the sea is affected by the slum area right in front not a great site. The staff is great. AER is definitely a must go esp if you are staying over on a Friday Night. Room Service is prompt. I love the fact that the rooms come with a iHome kit that plays music from your iPhone, iPad or Macbook.

The hotel was well positioned, clean and the room was excellent. The staff were very courteous and helpful. My only comment in the negative was the food, which I am sure was excellent for Indian food lovers, but I am not one of those unfortunately, and I found the dinner menu very difficult, as there was nothing acceptable in the way of international food for me to chose. Apart from that, an excellent hotel.

After trailing around India for a month I had booked the Leela for it's location near the International Airport. The hotel exceeded expectations at most levels. We arrived just before dark, tired and grubby and were shown to our room which had two single beds. It only took a moment to be changed to a king bedded room. I was impressed by the promptness of this service. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent (apart from a bent plug which made taking a bath out of the question). Due to our tiredness we chose to dine in and selected the Hotel's Chinese restaurant. The food was amazingly good and the staff here chose to go out of their way to locate a bottle of my favourite wine, which had not appeared on the wine list. These little things made such a difference to out stay. I was quite disappointed that we were only staying for the one night.
Our breakfast the following morning was also excellent and gave us a little peace before we tackled the endless airport round and our long trip home. I have no hesitation in recommending the Leela to others who are in a similar situation. It's location, almost at the door of the International Airport, is why we decided to stay there but we would probably return without this need. I am also anxious now to try other hotels in the group to see if they all meet similar standards.
