“A Bit far away, but still a very nice choice!”

Although the Acom Hotel is a little far away from Munich's center, is easy to get there in 15 minutes. First you have to take a bus to the nearest subway station (that takes about 10 minutes) and them you can get to Marienplatz station in 5 minutes. So, If you don't mind that, it's really a nice choice. The neighboorhood is very peaceful, the room is very clean. I'd stay there again.

“Comfortable, simple accomodations”

This is a cute hotel just outside of the city. Easy to reach by train and bus. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Busses came by the hotel every 10-20 minutes depending on the day, so it was easy to get back into the city in the morning. The only "complaints" (and they're hardly problems, just less than convenient) is that purchases at the restaurant downstairs and extra charges like for calling a taxi cannot be charged to the room and must be paid in cash to the clerk on duty. Also, there's not a lot of storage space in the rooms. We (two of us) were in the hotel for a week and didn't have enough room to unpack all of our things. Overall, a great stay!

“Great place to stay just outside of Munich”

This was a great place for a great price if you don't mind not being in Munich city center. This was one of the few places I could find that offered twin beds in the rooms (great for family group) The hotel was clean, modern, and service was great. It is very basic, but nicer than some 3-4 stars I have stayed in simply because of modern style. The rooms are a decent size and the bathrooms are clean and convenient. The hotel offers a breakfast at a reasonable price, they have a great variety and I believe it is worth the fee. They also have a small bar attached to the front desk serving basic drinks, beer, and coffee. Also some snacks. You can access wireless internet in the lobby (with your laptop, of course) and it is also a good place to lounge and have a coffee.

“Good Deal”

Normally, German hotels are clean and cheap. But, this hotel is a good deal among them.

“Reasonable price and comfort”

Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. It was spotlessly clean, the room was comfortable, and the staff were courteous and helpful. The front desk staff spoke English, and they were happy to give directions to buses and trains or call cabs. The disappointment was that they did not include breakfast or wireless internet access in the room. Breakfast would have been an additional 11 Euros per person per day, and wireless was available in 30 minute increments.

“Good service, a bit remote”

We found the hotel very comfortable an attractive, and the staff quite helpful. Although the hotel was on a main thoroughfare, and our window faced front, it was reasonably quiet. All the desk staff spoke excellent English. We were in Munich during the semi-finals of the World Cup, and one evening as we returned to the hotel, quite a few guests were assembled to watch a match on the big-screen TV in the lobby, so we joined them. (Alas, Germany lost that evening.) My only complaint (and complaint is probably too strong a word) is that I didn't realize how far the hotel was from the city center when I booked. That said, getting into the city center was easy once we learned about the bus across the street, which went directly to an S-bahn station. (It is a bit of a hike directly to the nearest S-bahn station, but not a prohibitive distance.)

“Nice hotel/polite people”

Nice hotel and very polite people. I was surprise the nice condition of the hotel, it should be at least a three star hotel. The people that worked there were very nice and helpful. I will stay there again on my next trip to Germany.

“Very helpful staff”

The Hotel Muenchen Haar was very minimalist, yet comfortable. The desk staff was very helpful and spoke English well. Also ~ free wireless internet. So overall a good experience.

“Not bad for the price!”

Hotel is small but comfortable and clean. Be sure to request a bathroom with bathtub and shower...this gives you a bit more room. Hotel reception is welcoming and efficient in answering questions and addressing concerns.
