“Great Hotel!”

I was quite impressed with the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and patient and very pleasant. The breakfast they provide in the morning is an outstanding way to start your day. The room was kept clean and the whole hotel was clean and I liked the decor. It is a great place to stay when you visit Munich. I would highly recommend it to all my friends and family.

“Great Experience”

Great staff, very accomodating to American's/English speaking guests. Excellent breakfast buffet, decent restaurant. Very conveniently located to S Bahn.

“Better than expected”

Nice hotel. Very clean, new, and modern. Free Internet that worked very well- everywhere. Buffet breakfast- awesome spread and many many things to choose from- eggs, lox, cereal, fruits, cheeses, fresh baked breads, and of course German sausages. Rooms are a bit small, but nice. We had a baby crib in our room and it was already cramped without it. If travelling with a child, I would get the bigger room- worth the upgrade. Location was good- close to subway. Not exactly a 'happening area' for going out, but the hotel had a great bar.

“A Great Place to Enjoy Munich”

The hotel is fairly new (as of January 2012), so often, the cab drivers either needed the address of the hotel. However, once you arrive, it is well worth the effort. The hotel has many modern amenities and is close to the local train station. There is also a local market and media store next door, so you can buy any last minute items if needed (bottled water and additional adaptors). My only wish is that the hotel was a little closer to more of the local sights, but it's a short cab ride or walk away.

“Very nice place”

The hotel was nice. The room was comfortable, including the bathroom which was very modern, and the flat screen TV with free movies. The room and hotel were very clean. The free breakfast was great. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay there again.

“The best stop on our vacation! Clean, helpful staff, and a great total experience!!”

Conveniently located a block away from the train station, the Angelo was easy to get to and perfectly located for easy commutes to and from places like Marian Platz, the Oktoberfest, Deutsch's Museum, BMW Factory and Olympics venues. The rooms are a little small, but there is everything you need for a good sleep and and great time. By the way... the breakfast buffet is the best of any of the places we stayed. Fresh with a great selection of foods! ENJOY!

“Nicest hotel yet”

This was a very nice hotel for a decent price. Unlike most hotels in this price range in europe, it set high standards that you would expect to see in a luxury American hotel.

“Service with a Smile”

Great location to the metro and just a quick 5 minute ride to the tourist areas. Very clean and modern design hotel with an exceptional breakfast buffet. Great staff as they let us have a late check out (until 1 or 3 p.m.) with no additional charge.

“beautiful, modern hotel in a perfect location for S Bahn/U Bahn”

Angelo Designhotel Munich is a great little gem of a boutique hotel just east of the city center. with comfortable beds, friendly staff, surprisingly affordable food and a perfect location for those who want access to the city without all the of the headaches of traffic/tourists, i highly recommend this hotel for all visitors. located literally right around the corner from an S Bahn stop (Leuchtenbergring station) the hotel was a 10 min walk/train ride to Marienplatz (3 stops total). the hotel also sells tickets for the S Bahn directly, which is incredibly convenient. the S8 should get you from the airport to the station, and if i had known how easy the transit system is in the city i wouldn't have booked a transfer car (80 Euro total for the 2 of us). just up the road (less than a minute walk) is a large indoor mall area with a Burger King, Media Market (their version of Best Buy) and a grocer and pharmacy, if you have any need to shop for things. The staff was very helpful and was patient with this confused tourist as I asked for directions time and time again :) definitely a place i would stay at for my next visit to the city, can't wait to go again!

“Pleasant and comfortable”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel wasn't very far at all from the train line then just a few stops to the city center, so super convenient. Breakfast was great as well. No complaints!
