Just one night, and everything worked well.Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Take this hotel if you need to stay overnight near the airport, and catch the next flight in the morning. Don't take it if you will stay longer.
Location: Nothing. Just spend a night
The organization is excellent, the hotel good enough to spend a night between two flights, the staff is correct, but not very pleasant.

Arcadia Hotel München AirportPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Free shuttle to airport, from there you can catch the train in to Munich for 10 euro.
Location: takes about 30 minutes to get to down town Munich
The staff are polite and very helpful and speak good English. The room was clean and tidy and staff cleaned it daily. The door was the only tricky thing because it tilts back but once you figure it out overall good hotel would recommend. There is also a free shuttle from airport to hotel and vice versa.

The Shuttle is GreatPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: It was relatively easy to get back to the airport for an early morning flight.
Cons: An easier way to call the shuttle from the airport.
. . . if you can figure out how to get it at the Munich Airport. Otherwise it's about a 20 euro taxi fare to the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful printing boarding passes and arranging for the shuttle and a wake up call the next morning. The furnishings are sparse but the hotel is clean. It was great to have Wi-Fi. The Arcadia is also within walking distance of Neuwirt il Casale; a very good Italian restaurant.

Hotel near Munich airportPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Closeness to the airport
Room was OK, nice size, but lots of stains on the carpet and could have been cleaner.

Things to know.......Posted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: The shuttle service was convenient but be sure to make reservations. There was a refrigerator in the room. It was quiet.
Cons: -Take off the pornographic channel unless requested. - Make sure guest understand breakfast buffet is NOT included in the price. - More towels
Location: The airport is very close and a train can be taken from the airport into the city of Munich.
1- If you are offended by or have young children traveling with you, be aware that a pornographic station is available without requesting or paying for it. It appears on a station as the television channels are changed. 2- Be sure to ask for towels if you need more than one or you are traveling with someone else. 3- The breakfast buffet is NOT included in the price. This is not mentioned until check out after eating the breakfast and then the cost is much higher than one would expect. 4- The shower height adjustment would not work properly.

Great value and amenities in convenient locationPosted Sep 13, 2013
Location: Convenient to restaurants, beer garden, bike and car rental, and city attractions.
Location is not far from train station and city attractions with large room and king bed. Exceptionally clean with great indoor pool and gym. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and speak English in addition to multiple other languages. Many restaurant options nearby in an indoor mall with grocery store and other convenient businesses as well as ATM. Tram stops right in front of hotel. One of the few hotels that has AC, which we appreciated as it was warm. Some of the less than perfect features were the "patio" which was about 8" deep by 36" wide. However, was nice to be about to open the door and get fresh air. The shower enclosure was only about 2.5 ft. from the wall, so water splashed out on the floor. The drainage was poor, so the tub filled up quickly with water when showering. However, the option of the shower head being hand-held was nice. Towels were rather thin and scratchy compared to other premium hotel towels. But the negatives were small in comparison to the many great features of the hotel, especially for the price. We would definitely recommend it, and probably stay there again.

Easy access to airport.Posted Jun 4, 2013
This hotel is situated just a short distance from the Munich airport (you can see the planes taking off and landing) but not a bit noisy. I found the staff to be friendly and competent and quite willing to help whenever asked. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Parking was not as expected but adequate. Good food, well prepared and friendly dining staff. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Bland at best.Posted Apr 11, 2013
I couldn't manage to arrange a pick up from the airport (and had to pay for a grumpy taxi), as the reception staff repeatedly hung up my call. There was no milk or cups for the coffee available in the lobby, the man at the desk clearly marked 'shuttle services' sharply refused to answer my shuttle-related questions and there was no shampoo or conditioner or lotion in my room, only shower gel. For $145, this didn't seem like the best deal, given that breakfast was $16 extra. My room was clean though, if almost definitively airport-hotel soulless... I liked the Italian restaurant down the road though. They were very friendly.

The hotel was fine in general. You can park free outside or use their underground pay parking garage. What you need to watch out for: Don't take the rooms across from the elevator. It's the only place there is tile floor (the rest is carpeted) and because travelers come and go at all hours, there is this constant noise from rolling suitcases to the elevator and people talking and laughing. I only got a couple of hour of sleep between 2 and 4 a.m. before it all started up again. Rooms farther down the hallway should be okay. The restaurant in the hotel is average.
