Quiet Stay near MunichPosted Jun 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good stay outside of Munich, you will need a map to find it. Easily accessible to downtown Munich via train. The station is a 10 min walk away. Great german food available, good selection of wine and spirits plus great German beer. Quality of restaurant service is excellent, happy, funny, family staff. Internet is available at no cost but you need to get a user/ password from the front desk every 8 hours. Taxi from airport is about 65 euros. Rooms do not have mini fridge, slippers or bathrobes, washcloths available on request. There is a nice indoor pool available also a cigar, bar lounge. If you need anything after hours there is a gas station across the street to purchase limited items. Breakfast is complimentary and very good. The staff was excellent and incredible friendly and courteous . Overall it was a great stay.

A Wonderful Hotel!Posted Oct 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
We traveled to Munich with friends for Oktoberfest and elected to stay outside the city. The Bauer Hotel was the perfect choice! The facility has been updated with beautiful décor and amenities. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The inclusive breakfast was filled with an incredible array of breads, cheese, meats, fruits, pastries, as well as eggs, bacon and sausage. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The only demerit was the small size of the bathroom. The hotel was located next to a scrumptious bakery, and a block from a colorful Feldkirchen pub. The train station was about 8 blocks away, and was only mildly inconvenient when dragging luggage - nothing a taxi can't resolve. We will definitely stay at the Bauer again, and would recommend it to everyone!

Friendly staff but no air con.Posted Aug 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel in in a great location which is 30 mins drive from the airport and is close to a train station. The staff were very nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. However, the fact that there is no Air Conditioning in the rooms means that this is a very uncomfortable stay in the height of summer. having the windows open is not an option as there is too much noise for you to get any sleep. I was so tired in the morning after staying here.

Pleasant HotelPosted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice traditional hotel decorated to a high standard. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Internet is free but you need to renew your code each day and in my case it constantly dropped connection for no apparent reason.
