Great hotel with great food.Posted Sep 30, 2013
Perfect hotel to stay in to visit Munich. Quick train ride into Munich avoids the traffic and parking issues. Food at the restaurant was great.

Friendly staff but no air con.Posted Aug 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel in in a great location which is 30 mins drive from the airport and is close to a train station. The staff were very nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. However, the fact that there is no Air Conditioning in the rooms means that this is a very uncomfortable stay in the height of summer. having the windows open is not an option as there is too much noise for you to get any sleep. I was so tired in the morning after staying here.

Pleasant HotelPosted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice traditional hotel decorated to a high standard. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Internet is free but you need to renew your code each day and in my case it constantly dropped connection for no apparent reason.

Good for business and pleasure.Posted Sep 25, 2012
Pros: Clean, comfortable. breakfast. staff, price
Cons: Church bells at 7 and 8am, noisy truck (hotel supply)
Location: ~10min walk to the train station +/- ~15min ride to the city, located at a nice town
Church bell wakes you up early 7 and 8am, truck under the hotel makes lots of noise. ~10min walk to the train station +/- ~15min ride to the city, located at a nice town. Good breakfast. Wi-Fi was not working well. Stayed for the Oktoberfest. In the hotel we show people for business and vacation. Not a laxury hotel. Home style hotel. Overall would stay in the future and recommend to friends.

A 4-start hotel true to its namePosted Aug 8, 2012
I spent only one night at this hotel but would definitely return if ever in that area again. The area itself is quiet, peaceful and full of parks. The hotel is nicely decorated and furnished and the same goes for the room - I had a single room with a street view. The indoor pool is big enough and the sauna is right next to it - both of these areas plus changing rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. Breakfast buffet will surely cater to everyone's tastes. The restaurant has two parts and the "winter garden" was just lovely.

It was ok.Posted Aug 2, 2012
Pros: The pool
Cons: The lack of air condition
Location: Tired with minimal dining options. A good pizza/pasta take away place around the corner.
The hotel room was fine however the kids had to share a sofa bed that was broken and sagged in one corner. The rooms were very hot and we had to sleep with the windows open - down side to this was the Mosquitos and the noise. The hotel is apparently getting air conditioning in August 2012 so i am sure that will improve things. The breakfasts were ok and typical of the food in Germany. The staff where hit and miss. The young girl on at nights was very pleasant and helpful. The same cant be said for some of the other staff. We think the hotel is very pricey, especially when you don't get basics like air conditioning or a kettle etc. The hotel is about 10 mins walk to the train station which is only about 15 minutes ride to Munich central station. If visiting Munich and the surrounds- get yourself on to a tour of the Alps - brilliant.
