Small, clean room close to city center

Rooms were small (not uncommonly so for Europe), but room was in great condition and the hotel was located close to everything -- across the street from the main train station and a 10 minute walk from the Marienplatz.

Convenient hotel in a very mixed neighbourhood

Friendly staff throughout. Very clean. Access to elevator with luggage is a challenge as no assistance offered to drag luggage up ramp. Pillows offer no support to head or neck and mattress needs urgent replacement. Room is basic. Breakfast was a great value and included in room rate. Take other meals elsewhere.

Fleming Hotel Munchen-City

Centrally located being very close to the train station and within walking distance to a lot of the sights. The staff was friendly and the hotel was nice with a breakfast each morning. The air conditioning was a little weak but I have found during my trip that I have found that with most places in Germany.

Cons: At breakfast, Eggs and bacon had to be ordered and when the bacon arrived, it was cremated and inedible.
Location: 2 min walk from Hauptbahnhof giving excellent connections to wherever you want to go

Cons: Nothing!
Our first trip to Munich and what a great hotel to have chosen! Just across the road from the main station and underground network. Helpful, English speaking staff. Good, reasonably priced food and excellent breakfast with choice of cereals, bakery products, fresh juice and cooked eggs/bacon. The room was clean and quiet.....even though we were next to the lift, you would not have known. Will definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Wonderful Experience

Location: The hotel is approximately 1 block from the main station, and walking distance from some restaurants
We have nothing but good to say about our experience. We arrived from Chicago at around 11:30 am on Friday, and we were able to get into our room immediately. We had lunch in the restaurant, and then went exploring. The desk clerk was helpful explaining how to get to the train. Later that evening, we asked for recommendations for dinner on Saturday night. After making suggestions, the clerk then made us a reservation for Saturday evening at 7:00 pm. The next morning we realized the tour we had booked would not get us back until after 7:00, at which time I asked the morning desk clerk if she would try an change our reservation to 8:30. She expressed some skepticism regarding the ability to do so, but said she would try after 11:00 am. When we got back from our tour that evening, we had a notes saying she had been successful; thanks to her. We were also pleased with the breakfast buffet.
