Grest location but street side rooms very noisy. Delivery company right across the street and start EARLY.

Location is good, but overpriced

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Hotel in a good spot in Munich, however, $300 for the night (an Expedia "special" offer) was overpriced for the condition/amenities availabile. Only 1 item can use paid-for wifi in rooms-really? Rooms are plain and dated. After traveling in Spain and Germany for 2 weeks, this hotel was triple the cost of any other and the least impressive. Staff was pleasant.

Great hotel in quiet area of Munich

Posted Sep 17, 2014
The hotel is nestled in a residential area of Munich, but still within easy walking and transit options for all of Munich's sites. Less than 5 minutes walking brings you to the entrance to the Englischer Garten, and about 10 minutes to Odeon Platz. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with helpful staff with varying levels of English ability. The staff is not on the desk between 10pm and 6am, and the hotel is locked and only accessible with room keys, so late check in is not possible. The breakfast buffet is fairly reasonable at 12 EUR per person, though a short walk will bring you to bakeries and coffee chains, so adding the buffet to your stay is not essential. The hotel has free wifi, but no business centre, and the closest places to access a physical computer/printer are near the central train station.

Nice hotel in a quiet street.

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Nice quiet safe residential location 5 mins walk from u bahn/tram stop & Surfers bridge at Entrance to English Gardens
Cons: Bar would have been nice
Location: If you don't want to buy breakfast at hotel there is a nice little Mullers coffee shop/bakery round corner that does a coffee & croissant for €2.90
Stayed for 2 nights. Booked here as we are a family & were put off hotels near Hauptbahnhof as lots of reviewers said that area is sleazy & seedy after dark! Hotel was great although it would have been even better with bar or beer garden! Not problem really as there are a few places in vicinity to go for a beer.

Cons: Room Size to Rate Ratio
Location: Near down town Munchen!
Looking for a place to take a shower and spend the night? This is a place to do just that.

Hot!

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The staff lady in the evening, really helpful. Location.
Cons: AC!!
Staff was helpful. The lady who used to in the evenings was really nice. Unfortunately, Munich was in the 30+C (32C at 7PM). The hotel was even hotter and the rooms had no AC or fans. Opening the window did not help since there was no wind to enter the room.

Not worth the money

Pros: Location
Cons: Renovate the bedroom and bathroom
Bedroom warm, no Ac, tiny bathroom. The only thing I like was the location.

This hotel was recommended by a German friend who stays here often when visiting Munich. As noted by the rating, the location was very convenient. U-BahnCard just around the corner and down the street. English garden a block away. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We prefer to stay in apartments but this was a good alternative for a short visit.

Perfectly good for a few days stay

The hotel is clean, the location is good - in Lehel, a few minutes' walk from the Lehel U-Bahn and only a short walk into the Altstadt or the Englischer Garten - and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. With a bakery just around the corner though I didn't feel like forking out 12 euro for the breakfast.

Walking distance to Marien Platz

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Fairly well situated in a very quiet area. Only 15 minutes walk to Marien Platz with everything that surrounds it and just a 2 minute walk to the Englischer Gardens. There a U-Bahn station about 5 - 10 minutes away for trains to everywhere via the Hauptbahnhof or Ostbahnhof. Our room was clean and bright. We didn't have the breakfast in the hotel as there's a bakery/cafe just around the corner.
