“Fantastic hotel if you don't mind walking a lot of public transport”

Service, amenities, and comfort of our room was outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The closest 'attraction' to this hotel is Englisher Garten, which is literally steps from the hotel. All of the beer gardens and beauty of the park were extremely convenient to get to from the hotel and that was a big plus. However, getting down to Marienplatz or the museum district was more of a pain. A bus runs right past the hotel, so if you don't mind taking that, then you're in good shape.

“Loved it!”

The mattress was really comfortable and the comforter was exceptional. The location beside the Englischer Garten was amazingly beautiful. The restaurant overlooked the garden and a beautiful stream. One of the best locations in Munich!

“Christmas haven”

My wife and I decided to take our daughter to Europe for the Christmas holidays, with Munich being our destination for Christas Eve and Day. Knowing that almost everything shuts down on the 25th and 26th, it was important that we find a hotel that offered a restaurant, and something to keep a bored teenager happy (like an indoor swimming pool). The Hilton Englisher Park would not, normally, be my choice of a vacation hotel; it is situated in a commercial park, and outside of the tourist-oriented city center. But were we pleasently surprised. First, the staff was wonderdul and courteous. Second, though in an office park, the Hilton is right next to one of the most beautiful of European urban parks, the English Park. And right across the bridge was a chain of parks winding through beautiful, old, elegant neighborhoods. Worth taking a few hours to explore. And the main tourist areas are only a short cab ride away. Our room was large, clean and quiet. The room service, even on Christmas night, incredibly quick. The indoor pool and spa facility, though not large, was well staffed, and a welcome diversion. The oriental restaurant in the hotel was not open during the holidays, but no matter, for the hotel's main restaurant was a treat. (And the breakfast is not to be missed). Due to the weak dollar, the Hilton is definitely not for the budget minded. But, considering the amenities, location, and service, I consider it a great value.

“Off the beaten trail”

The hotel is quite nice and the service is excellent (not always the case at German hotels: the staff are extremely helpful and friendly). The hotel is across from the English Garden, which is great. But the hotel is off the beaten trail, and away from the center of Munich. If you are coming just for a few days, this might not be the place for you. If you will be in Munich for a longer period, it is perfect, precisely because it is in such a peaceful area. I enjoyed the stay here -- the fitness area is not well designed and the sauna is too small. But in good weather, you can go running in the garden. I would recommend this place for a summer stay, but perhaps not during the darker, cooler months, during which time, the walk to town can be a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet is wonderful as is the service in the restaurant. This is a good hotel, just take note of its location outside the center of the city.

“Beautiful Hotel Outside Bustling City”

The Munich Park Hilton is a beautiful hotel; book the executive room when possible because the room includes executive lounge which includes breakfast, drinks and snacks throughout the day. It is not in the heart of the city, so taxi fares are unavoidable, but it is quiet and the staff is wonderful.

“Christmas Hospitality”

We were traveling to several cities in Europe over Christmas, and really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Munich Park. Great room, great view and even a Christmas Eve treat brought to our room! The location was easy to get to via subway and bus, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

“Excellent hotel in a nice, quiet area”

This hotel definitely lived up to the Hilton name both in service and comfort. The room was spacious and comfortable and everyone we encountered who worked there was incredibly helpful. It was right next to the English Garden and that made visiting the garden very easy but it did feel far from the city center. If you're looking for something a bit on the quiet side, this is the hotel for you but it wasn't really in the hustle and bustle of the city.
