“excellent hotel”

Excellent hotel. Staff was very helpful. Location a bit removed from center city but the transportation links were fine. Very quiet neighborhood. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it highly.

“Stay in Munich”

All in all we are satisfied with the hotel. The room was clean and met our needs for a family of four. We traveled to Munich by car and the hotel had a parking lot on premise. Cab fare was 15 to 16 Euros to the Aldstadt and if a cab wasn't available the front desk would call and within 2 minutes one would arrive.

“Nice Place Needs English Language TV Channel”

Nice hotel a bit of a walk from the ArabellaPark Underground but certainly doable. The room was clean and very comfortable. My singular complaint is that they did not have a single English-language channel on the television.

“Rooms fine, Food extremely expensive”

The hotel was clean and the room was well maintained. The room was a little small. The food was good for breakfast, but it was extremely expensive for breakfast.

“Comfortable and inexpensive, but hopefully, you have a car!”

The price cannot be beat, and the hotel is comfortable and clean with a kind staff, but the neighborhood (however beautiful) is not convenient to central Munich. You must take the U-Bahn to the last stop on the U4 line and then walk for 10-15 minutes, depending on if you know the shortcut (quite a niusance if you go downtown for dinner or to a biergarten and will be returning after dark). If you have a car or don't mind shelling out money for taxis (a taxi from Marienplatz at night will cost about 15-18 Euro), this is a viable option ... but the location is not convenient if you have limited time or funds for transportation.

“Nice Place”

The hotel and its employees were very nice. However, our fridge didn't work - they gave us a fruit basket for the inconvenience. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to the U-bahn. For the discounted package we paid for it was an excellent value.

“"Make sure you understand the extra costs."”

We got a good rate by using the expedia secret deals, but when we got there we realized that to use the internet was 12 euros extra a day and parking was 18 euros a day. This added about $36 to the price of the room per day. We went without internet, which wasn't terrible but we were surprised at the cost of something that is usually included in the room rate back in the states. The breakfast is also an additional cost, 21 euros per adult ($25 USD), kids eat free. They tried to sell it as an "American Breakfast" but I can't think of many places where it would cost $25 in the states for breakfast. Needless to say, we did not partake in that breakfast. Overall the rooms were okay, small but all we did there was sleep. The show pressure in the room was low, but you can change the setting on the showerhead to get a little more pressure. We will not be staying here again when we go back to Munchen.
