Okay for visiting scholarPosted May 31, 2013
Pros: convenient location
Cons: cramped quarters
Convenient location to University, Museums, Englischer Garten and one block from U-bahn. Hotel rooms very small; and no wait staff; parking as advertised was down the street inside a very tight interior courtyard--not convenient. Breakfast added cost--but nice spread and tables set elegantly-- only elegance about the otherwise pedestrian accommodations.

A great placePosted Mar 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a great place with many great restaurants in the area. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was delicious and the internet access was good but they seemed to turn it off at half past midnight every night.

Hotel HauserPosted Sep 23, 2012
Pros: Location, breakfast.
Cons: Small bathroom.
Location: Very convienient, plenty of places to eat and drink locally.
Typical European inner city small hotel. Comfortable, good breakfast, but small room. Not a problem when you are only sleeping & departing. Great location in the University area, 2 minutes to th U Bahn.

Good location, tight quarters.Posted Sep 19, 2012
Pros: Location, clean
Cons: Rude staff. Really small room.
Location: Very good.
Staff was less than pleasant and seemed very annoyed with any inquiry. Room the size of a cruise ship . Great location 10 minutes from city center and English Gardens.

Hotel Hauser-Close to museums and theater districtPosted Apr 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
Had several days of business with museums in Munich. Hotel Hauser is an older boutique hotel, but was clean, service friendly and accomodating. Was very convenient--within walking distance to major museum and theatre district. Not a luxury hotel, but well priced and clean.
