“My second home in Munich!”
The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood near the palace of Nymphenburg, the station is conveniently located 10 minutes walking, is a quiet place where service is first rate and the hospitality is incredible. You feel like home and I would not hesitate to return. The super-clean room and comfortable to take enough for me that I was 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helped me stay an extra night even in this season the hotel is full, I think I was lucky and they did not forget my request. Sebastian the owner is on the lookout for everything and always gives 100% effort to make you feel good. It is clear that to bring this hotel is his passion and achieved great results. Everyone in the hotel always attentive to the guests and the breakfast served is sufficient to start the day they also offer drinks at any time who wants to relax and see some parts of Soccer game or just a cup of coffee and chat with friends. It is amazing how this small family owned hotel can be at the top of reviews in Munich, once I stayed I know that it deserves all the good comments.
“Very happy with Munich hotel”
This small family run hotel is in a very quiet, upscale neighborhood near the Nymphenburg Palace. The reception staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are several restaurants, grocery market, & drug store within walking distance. The hotel is away from the center of town, but that's no problem because the S train station is about a 15-20 minute walk, the tram is about a 10 minute walk. It's a family friendly place, the owner and his wife live on the property with their two young children. Our room was fairly small, but this is expected in hotels in large European cities. I would recommend it highly and would stay there again.
“Awesome and near many sites”
This hotel was wonderful, small and comfy. In gorgeous neighborhood stepsnfrom Nymphenburg Palace and close to a huge biergarten. Informed and delightful staff and owners, very helpful. Only a few miles from BMW Welt and the Olympic park. Great place to stay.
“Lovely”
Great neighborhood and just close enough to Munich. Lovely owners. We had a really long day and just wanted to go to the room and relax with a movie and we were provided a dvd player and the owner went to his room to get us a few dvds to watch. Would definetly go back!
“Fabulous hotel & fabulous people”
We are very "picky" & this place was great! Very clean & every employee exceeded expectations in terms of being helpful & accommodating. The owners live on the premises & are always making sure you have what you need. The location is wonderful & they had wonderful recommendations for restaurants & public transportation, etc. We highly recommend this place & would definitely stay again, should we return to Munich at some point.
“Perfect Hotel - Highly Recommended”
This is a perfect hotel and we recommend it to anyone! The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Nymphenburg Palace and Gardens. It is a 5 minute walk to the Hirschgarten Beer Garden. It is a 5 minute walk to the tram that takes you directly into the city (which is very easy to use - the hotel sells tickets). The neighborhood is quiet, full of local families, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel is about a 15 minute tram ride to the old historical part of Munich, so if you want to stay in the hustle and bustle of that area this is not the hotel for you. The staff is wonderful. They are extremely friendly, helpful, and will go out of their way for you. They made many excellent recommendations. They speak English very well. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. Ours, room 31, seemed to be a suite with a desk and two couches. It was spacious and while the decor was not modern, it did not feel dated. There was no A/C, but we were there during the fall so it was not a problem - they did have a fan in the room for warmer days. The breakfast included coffee, tea, yogurts, breads, meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, and juices - it was a comprehensive and satisfying continental breakfast for 8 euros per person. The hotel had 4 parking spaces for guests and once those were filled there was plenty of free street parking. We had unlimited, free wireless internet that worked very well. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning as soon as possible!
“Quiet neighborhood away from the city”
The hotel staff was possibly the best we encountered during our 10 day vacation. They spoke incredibly good english and were very honest about what to see and do. It is only about a ten minute walk to the trolley to get downtown. Once you get to the Marienplatz you are good to go just about anywhere. Their breakfast was very good for 8 euro. The best soft boiled eggs around! No lift, but they were very helpful if you need a hand getting your bags to your room. Free wifi available as well for 2 hours at a time. They will give you as many extra codes if you ask. One of the most amazing things to me about such a technology driven country is how far behind they are with wifi spots and...if you do find them they are usually pay sites like Tmobile.
“Excellent Service”
No matter which member of the hotel staff I interacted with, they were ready to bend over backwards to ensure I had an enjoyable stay.
“Nice hotel”
Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Room was large and comfortable; the bathroom was also large with decent towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was located in a nice quiet neighborhood; the only problem was parking- the parking lot was very small and we had to park on the street. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
“great hotel...very clean..staff very helpful..good location”
The only disapointment was that the website & the Expedia clerk assured me there was a hotel shuttle from the Munich airport ..There is NOT a shuttle..It is a train ride & a short walk..Which is stressful after a long flight & arriving in a foreign country..
