A ways from central Munich but easy accessPosted Jul 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is very plain, but pleasant. Across the street there is a very delicious and well-decorated branch of the Hofbrauhaus. The beer and food there are delicious. Overall, it was a good stay and two options (S-bahn and U-bahn) to the center of the old city are convenient.

Clean hotel with helpful servicePosted May 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was very clean with nice accommodations. The breakfast, not included in the price of the stay, was excellent--a good variety and very tasty. Hotel was right next to the train or you could park your car in the garage for an extra charge. The staff was very helpful.

Great value with helpful staffPosted Mar 22, 2013
Pros: people were very helpful
Cons: noisy avenue
Location: see my comments above
This is a great value hotel for business travelers. The location is a bit off center but located next to trams and S-bahn going downtown and to the airport. The place is very clean and the staff has all been very helpful. I arrived with an early morning flight and my room was made ready before noon. Breakfast is good with good choices. For dinner there is a very friendly typical Bavarian restaurant across the street. The only downside would be the room on the main avenue side: traffic can be quite noisy but the windows insulation is good and was not an issue for me. However for people who need very quiet rooms they should require one on the other side of the hotel.

I was very satisfied with this hotel and great services. close to the S & U bahn and sreetcars. TAXI services was great only 20 euros to get from hotel to HAUPTBAHNHOF (MAIN CENTRAL STATION). Breakfast fanstatic and good deal fo 10 euros. Safe zone area which is in the nieigherhood area and restruant. I even ate at the Paulander restruant sorry forgot the name. They had the best food in town which is in the walking distance it was more like the mom and pop eatery place and it was the best food I ever eaten and very friendly staff.

Basic Hotel on a noisy roadPosted Aug 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
This Hotel is right on a main road. If you are unlucky enough to get a road facing room, you may struggle to get a decent nights sleep due to traffic noise, especially on the lower floors. The rooms do not have Air Conditioning either, so in the summer it can be very hot; if you choose to open the window to cool down, then you get even more traffic noise. Breakfast buffet is OK, but there is no restaurant in the hotel, although there are a couple of acceptable options across the street. The hotel is out of town, but next to a tram line, so easy journey into the centre in about 15 minutes. I paid extra to book a double "comfort room" (which means a room facing away from the road), but when I arrived they assigned a road facing room on the 1st floor and said "sorry mister, some problem with the booking". I was moved to a single room away from the road, which was absolutely fine, if not what I had booked, but I did get a decent nights sleep.
