“Clean and convenient”

I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms are average size small for Europe, but so clean, toilitries provided etc. Conveniently located on a walkplatz, meaning no cars drive in front of the hotel. Walk out the front door and you are in a plaza with shops, cafes, restaurants, and other hotel entrances. A short walk acoss a somewhat busy intersection to the Marionplatz and Glockenspeil and the shopping district. Surrounded by beautiful old buildings and churches. Walking distance to train station (without being too close) and also to the Augustiner beer garden/restaurant which I also recommend for a unique dining experience. I had only 24 hours in Munich on foot and was able to quite a bit from this location.

“Great Hotel Staff and Location”

While it is a little difficult to find initially, (the entrance is among store fronts near the Hauptbahnhof) the hotel is well-located in Munich and an easy 15 - 20 minute walk to the Marienplatz and other major city attractions. Lots of shopping available along the way. The desk clerk was very helpful and spoke excellent English. She assisted us in returning our rental car to the rental return garage. We would definitely stay there again.

Modern and super clean. Centrally located within easy walking distance of most major sites, restaurants and shopping. 100 meters from ALL mass transit train. Excellent buffet breakfast and free internet.

“Good place to stay, not fancy.”

Good location between the train station and the main tourist area in the city center. Nice room, clean, not fancy, good breakfast buffet that came with the room price, and a computer to use the internet.

“Location perfect....”

To start, I would recommend this hotel to others. We only stayed one night, so I wasn't looking for the most impressive hotel to begin with. You can't beat the location. It is right outside the train station, and most sights one would have on their itinerary are within walking distance (which was my main concern). It is not the most modern hotel, but the bathrooms are very satisfactory. Do not expect to check-in early (which seems to be the policy at most European hotels). But they do allow you to store your luggage on-site. Breakfast was great, and included in the rate. Overall, what I expected when booking the room. I would stay here again, but may opt for a more updated, modern hotel if staying for more than a night or two.

“Just 2 minutes by walking...”

We chosed it because of its location ; traveled easily and enjoyed to salzburg,nuremberg,rothenburg o.t.,(2 minutes walking distance to main train station) and 1 minute to airport bus shuttle:) Hotel has good and sufficient breakfast menu, room is ok, Staff are kind and helpfull

“Great Location, Good Value, Inlcudes b-fast”

This hotel is great value with nice breakfast and amazing location. Very convenient to main train station;less than 5 minute walk. Close to restaurants and sights. Only down side is that the front of the hotel is on busy proemenade with cafes that are open late. The noise of people outside was heard all night. We had room on lower level and front of the building. Not sure if other rooms same issue- but next time I would frequest room on back of bldg.

“Conveniently located hotel”

I booked on-line and arrived to find that I had been assigned to a smoking floor. Since there did not appear to be an option for "smoking" or "non-smoking" on my original reservation, I was surprised. When I told the person at the desk that I could not stay in a smoking room, he originally said there was nothing he could do, then proceeded to find me a single room that was sparse but serviceable. When I checked out, they charged me for my original double room even though I had changed to a single room. When I disputed this, they simply said they could do nothing since I had originally booked a double. Supposedly free wi-fi didn't work and desk person could not assist. For US travelers, I would compare this hotel to a Motel 6. Free buffet breakfast was very good --bread, fruit, yogurt, eggs, meats, cheeses, etc.
