A real jewel in the MUC airport

Posted Jul 31, 2014
We were impressed by the architecture and the staff. The people at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable although the mattresses are very firm. We were surprised by how quiet our room was. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The check in desks of Lufthansa are just a few steps away.

Luxurious Hotel near airport

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Our family of six enjoyed two nights at the Kempinski. The rooms were large with wonderful amenities, and the bathroom was the most luxurious we found during our three-week travels through Europe. The restaurant offered a good variety of choices that appealed to all of us from 16-years-old to 74-years-old, and the staff there were very attentive. We would certainly recommend it to friends and would definitely stay there again, should future travel take us to Munich.

Airport convenience

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The staff and the room and the Expedia upgrade. Prices at the minibar were not outrageous.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Visit world's oldest brewery in Freising,
This is the only hotel right at the airport. The staff are extremely courteous, professional and yet still friendly on a more personal level. They would make helpful suggestions but were never pushy or impatient. The rooms are luxurious and correspondingly expensive, but well worth a night's stay as check-out is not until 12.00 p.m. Relaxing here helped prepare me for the flights back to Phoenix and the jet lag that spares no one. I have stayed at hotels in nearby Freising, but no more! The lack of hassle and freedom to relax make the cost well worthwhile.

German vacation

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: Wi-Fi should be free without having to be a member - and stronger signal.
Location: See above.
Needed a good hotel close to Munich after 30 hour trip from Central California. The Kempinski was perfect; less than 10 minutes by foot from Customs at airport to clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent staff who helped with every request. Easy and quick access to the train for a short ride into Munich. Food and drink were excellent and not outrageously priced as are so many other airport hotels. We will do it again on our next vacation to Bavaria.

Nice hotel to stay at for an early flight the next

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Overall quality of room and proximity to Munich Airport terminal (5-min walk, indoor)
Cons: They should provide a King-sized comforter for a king sized bed (the one present was a queen-sized comforter)
Nice rooms, bathrooms; while certainly more expensive than most other hotels in the Munich airport area, the rooms are very nice, great bathroom, mini bar, safe, etc.

Perfect for catching early morning flights

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Wifi included with room rate. Most other hotels we stayed at had free wifi.
Location: Between terminals 1&2. Close to many food choices. We enjoyed beer garden. Hotel has pool and spa.
We wanted to have a hassle free and pampering experience before flying home early in the morning to the USA. This hotel filled all the requirements. Plus great customer service.

Between Terminal 1 and 2.

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Super clean , Bell staff very helpful. Great place to watch the soccer games in the lobby. They seem to always offer late check out .
Cons: Cant think of anything other than what i have already said
Location: Besides the Grocery store , McDonalds , other food service very close , the car rental is right there. There are huge events in the middle of Term 1&2
Hotel is great , staff is great. The only thing I did not like was the charge for internet and the cost of there breakfast. But there are some great alternatives close by for food. Like the grocery store in Terminal 1or the 24 hour open McDonalds. People come from all over the place just to come to the airport.
