“Great Hotel for everyone”

Great Hotel right by the train station. You are right in the center of the town with a close walk to all of the attractions.

“Very good hotel in old style”

A lot of good words about this hotel have already been said in previous reviews, so I can just confirm them, and there is no need to repeat it. I've myself stayed in this hotel twice already and every time I was pleased with my stay. And still there were several sort of inconvenient things for me personally that I don't consider as reasons to change hotel, but just worth to know: 1) absence of soap tablets (although there was liquid soap), 2) the iron and the ironing board that I ordered to the number were not very good quality (at least the iron was without steam), 3) on check-in they require cash or credit-card deposit in case you take something from mini-bar, and you have to provide them with it even if you are not going to use mini-bar that seemed to me a bit annoying

“First Class says it all.”

We had already spent 4 nights in two other countries when we arrived in Munich. The other rooms were so small one could hardly walk around the bed. When we open the door at the King's Hotel room, we were delighted with the beautifully appointed room, with plenty of space to place luggage, comfortable beds, and excellent lighting. Even if were were not contrasting to other hotels, this room and hotel is a stand out. Every member of the staff that we encountered was friendly and helpful. They either spoke or understood English and were more than happy to provide suggestions, directions, etc. Even though there are not many restaurants in the immediate area, the staff suggested a good beer garden and an excellent Italian restaurant. The proximity to the central train station was wonderful as we had 2 tours planned requiring trains.

“Fall vacation stay”

Outstanding. Staff was helpful. Room condition was great. Location was perfect for walking to downtown sites, and accessing train for those further afield.

“Great hotel, great location, great price!”

The Kings Hotel First Class in Munich was a great place to stay. The hotel is a few blocks away from the main train station which made getting to and from the airport very easy. It also made any sort of transportation easy. Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable. We also found that many of Munich's sights (the main square, the art museums, etc.) were within walking distance. Some people have commented that the hotel is in a "seedy" neighborhood, but I didn't think the neighborhood was bad at all. There is a "club" across the street that appears to be a strip club, but we really didn't see any "seedy" characters around because of it. There is a grocery market right next door if you want a snack or want to make a picnic lunch. All in all, it was a great hotel in a great location and for a great price through Expedia!

“Second Visit To Kings Hotel First Class”

We stayed at this hotel in 2007 and were so satisfied we booked again. It was just as nice as before. The rooms are small but very complete, including a wonderful espresso machine that we were able to make "American" style coffee. Shower was great. The people that worked the desk were very helpful. The little bar was a favorite stopping place. There is a great Italian restaurant around the corner if you need a break from the wonderful German food. There is also a bakery across the street. A perfect location.

The hotel is fantastic. Large clean rooms, nice helpful staff. Only issue would be is that it's located in an area that's not as nice as the rest of the city - BUT is very close to the train station, which makes it worth it for me.

Stayed one night and was very pleased with hotel. Great parking (fee) and very well maintained. Great location especially when you are on the move. Bed exceptionally good. Highly recommend
