Very pleasant hotel close to city centrePosted Jul 27, 2014
We had a lovely couple of nights here. It is easy walking into the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent, although not cheap. The only down side was a bit of noise from the hostel opposite which didn't stop us sleeping but might bother some people.

Far to close to the central stationPosted Jul 15, 2014
Cons: Service from desk staff - a bit rude.
Location: Fairly central so easy access to everything
Close to main station and hence a salubrious area after dark. Staff at desk not that helpful when my UK to European adaptor broke. Should have been an option to borrow one ( as per hotel guide). Expensive Wifi so not ideal for non business travellers.

Building works currently next doorPosted May 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is at best a 3 star for Australian standards. Rooms are small but not the smallest I have encountered. The room we were in was a little tired but still ok. Bathroom flooded into room but was fixed promptly. Building works going on next door which you hear early morning and during the day. I guess this will go on for 12 months (high rise construction). Location is very close to bus and train station. Breakfast is good value for money. You still need to pay for internet. Most places are now free for internet. Staff friendly and helpful.

Stayed there last week. Room was so tiny that it was impossible to keep a suitcase open. If you need internet then this hotel is unusable. Everything is blocked ( cannot even watch a CNN video clip) and downloading of even simple excel files takes for ever. Also private secure connections are blocked. Internet not suitable for a business stay. Staff response: cannot improve anything. Otherwise staff friendly, excellent breakfast.

Really Centrally LocatedPosted Mar 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We reached the hotel around 9am and they let us check in early. They were very kind. They did not charge us at all like some hotels do for early check in. Breakfast very good. Hotel very clean . Really bright. Very nice front desk personnel specially Suzy who gave us directions for sightseeing and was very understanding regarding our needs as we are a senior couple. Friendly personnel. Please go to this hotel. Price very reasonable.

Clean convenientPosted Jan 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Located 100 yards from the Hauptbahnhof and less than 5 minute walk to the Karlsplatz convenient to much of what Munich has to offer. Rooms were adequate in size very clean--great shower! And quiet. Very helpful and pleasant staff a special shout out to young Marcus. He made certain all my public U-Bahn travel was accurate

Hotel locationPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The carpets in the rooms and passages looked very tired, and looked like the needed a good spring clean. I walked with slippers and socks in the room
Location: Central station Hop-on-hop-off Altstad
Hotel was very well placed to the central rail station as well as to the collection point for the hop-on-hop-off tours Was also within walking distance of the Altstad The only issue is that my bedroom windown looked onto a construction site....the builders arrived on site at 07h00 every morning to work...this was my morning wake up call Was a little nervous about the area/across the road is two youth hostels

Too close to hostels, lots of noise late at night from young people in the street.

Good hotelPosted Sep 12, 2013
Cons: Wifi strength.
Location: Walk or take taxi to old town. See the nautical museum and aquarium. Tapas bars are very good and lots of them.
Good hotel. Very convenient next to bus station and 20 minutes walk to old town along the river. Hotel staff very helpful and polite. Rooms a bit noisy and wifi weak in room. Otherwise a good place to stay.
