Good hotel close to U2 linePosted Nov 17, 2014
Cons: Wifi reception should be strong throughout the property.
Good hotel located near the U2 line (5 mins walk) and has a great breakfast spread. Clean, well appointed rooms. Staff was ok, save for the surly attitude during breakfast service. Must have been too busy. Downside was wifi reception. For business use, the wifi service was not acceptable as it was overloaded, bad signal strength unless your room is situated directly next to an access point. This must be improved if they are serious about promoting the hotel for business. I would stay here again but would ask for a room with better wifi reception.

Great hotel for Munich city breakPosted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: As above. We used the hotel as a base for Munich city centre, the Deutsches Museum, Dachau and Neuschwanstein Castle (plan for the engineering works)
Hotel was close to underground which was just a few stops into the centre / sights. Room was cosy for 3 (couple with teenage son) but perfectly manageable for a few nights. The room was spotless, had a kitchenette and the beds were really comfortable. The only negative was the pillows - they felt very thin even doubled up and folded. When requested, the hotel provided a really full "kitchen box" with washing up liquid, kitchen towels and cloths as well as pans, salt & pepper and colander. This was brilliant for those on a budget as it was really easy to make pasta etc. The cleaners refreshed the room to a really high standard when requested and even came in to hoover up a glass bottle we'd accidentally knocked over on the tiled area. The reception staff were really helpful and efficient. All in all it made our stay in Munich even more pleasant and easy than we'd expected.

The hotel is about 5mins walk to the nearest stPosted Oct 16, 2014
The hotel is situated relatively near to the train station. For the price we paid, it is considered reasonable.

Good for a short breakPosted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: location, cleanliness
Cons: Rooms are small
Location: Good transport links to all parts of the city via the U-bahn. Marienplatz and English Garden are great.

Charged my card at check in even though I had already paid. Rooms are tiny!

Good location, but otherwise not the bestPosted Aug 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good location, within a minute of the U-Bahn station (U2) and within minutes of both the centre of Munich and main station (Hbf). However hotel dated. On the top floor at least rooms quite small, have a low ceiling on one side and an odd 'c' shape making a visit to the bathroom in the middle of the night without the lights rather a challenge. Bathrooms also small and dated. Staff friendly and work really hard at breakfast, but the small dinning room struggles to keep pace with demand. Small kitchen in room unexpected bonus.

Nice average hotelPosted Aug 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was an average to good place to stay. A little expensive for staying there when you are driving a car.

unfriendly hotel staffPosted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were arrived late at the hotel and there was a young hotel staff at the reception. She didnt't know how to check my reservations and kept telling me she dont know and asking me to wait. We took night train all the way from vienna to Munich and she didn't even let us to check in to the hotel rooms. shouldn't she ask someone to help instead of telling me she dont know and ask me to wait? Extremely annoyed by her unprofessional attitude. One more thing, the room has no air-conditioning and the room become so stuffy when you didn't open the window..

Pleasant stay in munichPosted Jul 24, 2014
Hotel was in convienient location to U-Bahn which allowed for a hassle free commute into the city. Staff where helpful and room was clean, though did smell of cigarettes and we were in a smoking-free room. Also note there is only 24 hours of free wifi and the connection doesn't reach inside the rooms.
