Quiet away from Oktoberfest but close enough

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: showers were large and hot beds were comfortable staff all spoke ENglish and were nice
Cons: Glass bathroom doors may be neat and clean but do not offer privacy or close 100%. I would suggest altering that someway.
Location: Olympic stadium is nearby, The U train is a block away giving you transportation to any important place. We took it for everything.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Really liked the hotel. It cost $65 euros to arrive by cab from airport or you can take the train directly there, there is a stop a block away from the hotel. The train system is very easy to figure out. Room was comfortable for 3 people, two twin beds pushed together and a chair that unfolds to a bed. The room was comfy and clean. The lights only work when your room key is in a box next to the door so electricity is not wasted. Air conditioning system is not like in the states, it was a bit stuffy. But open windows fixed that problem. Shower and bathroom were both large and water was hot. Food in the restaurant and bar was tasty. Outside fire pits and patio were comfortable, although there were alot of mosquitos when we were there. It was about a 15 minute train ride to the center of town and Oktoberfest. Far enough away to be quiet but easy to get to both without an problem. Hotel is near the Olympic stadium. Staff all spoke English and were extremely nice and helpful There were 3 of us, all in our late 40's, early 50's and were all liked the hotel. Recommend having hotel staff book any tours instead of booking them yourself because they will have the tour bus company (graylines) come pick you up at the hotel for free, a convenient thing instead of taking the train into town to get the tour. You will need to take the train back at the end of the night.

The hotel is nice

Posted Jun 24, 2014
good and friendly staff, breakfast was abit overpriced, the housekeeping came in my room three times without any acknowledgement but they quickly settled it. My mum had to ask them to get new cups and tea bags everyday because they didnt renew them, but the others were really good they made sure we know where are we going and its worth staying in this hotel!

Nice business hotel

My only complaint is that they try to squeeze every penny out of us! A business hotel that charges top dollar should have free wireless internet in the room. Instead they charge approx 12 EU a day for slow internet and 18EU for fast! This is outdated and rude!

Weekend in Munich

Overall experience was good. But, I was surprised how small the rooms were considering the hotel is north of the Olympic park and BMW.
