“Great Hotel, Great Location”

We loved this hotel! Yes, the rooms are small-but not too small. Two adults, two medium suitcases, and two backpacks fit just fine. The beds are VERY comfortable, the bathroom is spotless. Your room key-card gives you access to the whole hotel. You must have the card to go up in the elevator. You must also insert the card when you enter your room to turn the electricity on. The hallways have motion sensored lights, so we felt safe. We parked behind the hotel in the U-bahn parking garage which only charges one euro for 24 hours. It was a little difficult to figure out how to drive around there, but once we found it, it was well lit and safe. The only thing is you have to move your car at least every 24 hours, which we just pulled out and pulled right back in each morning before we left for a day of sightseeing. The bakery next door is pricey and food is just okay. We walked along the S-bahn rail line about 3-4 blocks and found many other great bakeries to choose from for much less money. We also tried the italian place accross the street, which was simple but good food. Also the Donner Kebap accross the street was very very good. Donner Kebap is everywhere in Germany, and though it is Turkish food, we really enjoyed them, better than hamburgers that we get here in America...if you like pork. This hotel is in a suburb like area on the outskirts of the city, so we felt like we were living like the locals when we explored the area.

“Great budget hotel near transportation”

Great hotel with access to trains, trams, subway, RER, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful with local tours and subways. Room was small but clean. Kept our bags for us when we had a late flight at no charge. Nice bakery next door, Italian across street, kabob place near. A bit isolated, but 15 minutes to Marienplatz. Very near Olympic Stadium.

“Hotel for budget travelers”

The hotel is mostly suited for students and budget travelers. The room has a modern design, everything was clean, even though a bit cramped, but it's not that big of a deal. A potential problem for someone could be the fact that the bathroom and separate toilet room have a shared sliding door, which means, that they can't be closed at the same time. No breakfast is included. There are several eating options nearby. At first driving in the area surrounding the hotel was rather confusing as there was a complicated combination of streets closed due to construction, one way streets, etc. But a metro station is conveniently nearby.
