Great LocationPosted Sep 28, 2014
Hotel across from Munich main train station. You can take the S1 or S8 Bahn from airport for about 21 euros its about 45 minute ride. Centrally located to key attractions, Marienplatz is about a 10 minute walk, plenty of restaurants and cafes. Front desk staff was very helpful...definitely will return.

Great locationPosted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Great location and handy to get to anywhere you needed.
Cons: A few staff members might benefit from a reminder that having a bad attitude towards guests is not a desirable trait.
Location: Right across the street is the central train station and the bus station is just up the road 5 minutes.
We booked our room here in January for 2 people/2 twin beds & the confirmation email said the same, but when we arrived, the room was set up for one person in a small double room; 1 pillow, single duvet, 1 towel e.t.c. When we called front desk and the guy said that our booking was only for one person and that as the hotel was full they couldn't help us. After some difficulty, we managed to get another set of bedding and towels so we didn't have to share the small blanket we had and the next day when we asked for a second room key the girl on the desk was extremely rude and gave us attitude about the room being only for one person, but she did give us a key. She made me feel so bad I even went back through every email I had received regarding this trip to see if the fault was mine but every confirmation said 2 people. When we checked out we were asked if we enjoyed our stay and when I explained our predicament the gentleman on the desk was very apologetic and surprised by what we said and ended up covering our mini bar bill for us in a gesture of good faith. Our last interaction with the staff was a pleasant one and the tall blonde gentleman was very helpful. Coming from a history of working in the tourism industry myself, I find it upsetting when other people do not treat me with the courtesy that I would myself give and expect my own staff to give any guest, but one bad egg does not spoil the bunch and I would most likely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Munich!

Close to the Central Train StationPosted Sep 15, 2014
Cons: I think it would be great if they just brought in a standard rack of tourist pamphlets etc.
I stayed at the hotel with my wife for three nights - the hotel is large and located across from Munich's central train station. As tourists, the hotel felt more appropriate for business travellers, and did not have any tourist information available in the lobby. The immediate vicinity is a little more grubby than our previous hotel in Munich, with 'casinos' (small bars with video lottery terminals) and sex shops next to the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is pretty standard for a large chain-type hotel. We did not try their breakfast service, as at 21 EUR per person, it was by far the most overpriced offering we saw on our two weeks across Germany, especially as the central train station has a number of bakeries, coffee shops and chains, such as Starbucks and Yorma's, where a large breakfast can be had for well under 15 EUR for two people.

A Good Hotel close to main transport linksPosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: central location
Cons: tea / coffee making facilities would be a good idea
Very centrally located and comfortable. Breakfast price is outrageous and would suggest Hbf. as an alternative.

Very convenient location !Posted Aug 23, 2014
I've never been to Germany before and the hotel staff made me feel really welcomed ! It was truly a pleasant experience. Moreover, the room was very clean and the shower was extremely comfortable. Most importantly, its location is at the center of Munich. All the tourism sites and shopping malls are in walk distance. Saved me lots of travel time ! This is why I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location right by the main railway station and a 10 minute walk to the centre of town or a two minute u bahn journey. The staff were friendly , the room was clean and quiet and the bar area was pleasant. I'd stay here again.

close to the railway station, close to inner cityPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Hotel was helpful to give us directions and handed out a city plan
Cons: I guess it is nothing you could improve, but I was bordered by the little steps in the room and hallways, fearing to trip over them!
Location: The hotel is on a busy street accross from the railway station
The bedroom was o.k., but we found the bathroom arrangement with the door to the toilet very inconvenient, also the shower with the door is not well designed!!!

Excellent hotel, good location.Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Location; breakfast, air conditioning
Cons: Wifi could be faster with no limits
Location: Excellent for long and short distance transport
Location is excellent - across the road from the hauptbahnhof, with S-bahn and U-bahn outside, as well as the bus to the airport. The room was very good with air conditioning and a particularly comfortable mattress. The shower had great pressure and the room was very clean. Breakfast could not be better – a wide choice of options and a pleasant roof terrace if you want. The wifi in the room was a little slow and the vouchers supplied have limited downloads - downloading maps for directions used this up very quickly. As far as I was concerned, I had no significant wait for the lifts. I would certainly stay again.

Nice hotel just next to the main train stationPosted Jul 22, 2014
Location is great except the room aircon which is almost non existent. Had to open the window to let in the fresh air. We had mixed experience with the front desk. 1 lady was helpful but the other lady that processed our check out was terrible. We arranged to leave our luggages there when checking out but she asked us to wait whilst she proceeded to process other check outs after us. Despite reminding her, she made us wait for almost 15 mins
