nice hotel central, clean friendlyPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: clean and friendly
Cons: bed covering under the sheets-extra pillows in room-
Location: great location- handy for centre and train and tram or bus
nice clean hotel . central location, tram outside and rail, although it was not noisy in our room - in face it was quiet- we were at the back- only thing - beds would benefit from softer sheets or take out the plastic undercover which made it uncomfortable- not the bed- it was in great condition, so easily remedied- very good cleaning staff who were friendly- reception staff were helpful too- we did not try breakfast so cant comment- a nice restaurant at the end of the road and subway near, plenty of selection of fast food in the railway station across the road too before you get on the tram-

Didn't feel cleanPosted Nov 25, 2013
Cons: Spend a lot of money on cleaning up the rooms and common areas.
Location: The train station and many restaurants and shopping
The hotel is in a great location but I really felt like I may leave with more than I arrived with! Not clean at all and wall paper coming off the wall, mold in the bathroom etc.

Great Location - Tiny RoomPosted Nov 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location was great - right across the street from the train station. The hotel was somewhat dated, but was ok. This is one of the tiniest rooms I have ever stayed in. It was a single with a twin bed in kind of an alcove. There was a desk with about 2 feet between the desk and the bed. It didn't really matter since I was only there to sleep. Wireless internet was available in the room free which was good. I was the last room down a hall and the signal wasn't great but it worked. It was reasonable value for the price.

Solid hotel choice near main train stationPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is the second trip in which I stayed close to the Hauptbahanhof. There are many hotels in this area, and this one is a very good choice. It is not super luxurious, but it lives up to its three star rating and is more than adequate. Room was clean and comfy. The wifi worked well (very important to me) and I love the proximity to the train/metro/bus station. I also ate at a few places inside the train station, and that was convienent. Only down side is the slightly seedy feel of the area. "Colorful" people hanging around the station at night, nearby are casinos and strip clubs/adult shops. I'm a single adult, so I didn't mind, but families may be nonplussed.

Great location right across the street from main train station, minute walk to Oktoberfest and minute train ride to city center. Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms we're nice and clean.

Are you kidding me?Posted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: I like that I no longer am staying at this hotel.
Location: Even the central location to Munich and the train station cannot help this hotel with out refurb of the property and re-training the staff in cus svc.
I wish I could have posted this while at the hotel to warn others from booking here! No chance of getting another room as it was Oktoberfest and everything was booked. Rude employees - the folks at check-in, the luggage check, the hotel bar either don't want to work at a hotel or hate tourists (or just Americans). The only nice employee we met was a younger male (not sure where he worked) who recommended us a bunch of places to go see. Small and dirty rooms - I know space is more of a commodity in Europe but the carpet was stained and smelled of urine; the bath room smelled of urine. No A/C (air conditioning) so we had to leave the window open. Noisy location - Hotel is right across from the train station and a Police station and next to two strip clubs and casino. Constant police sirens going up and down the street, travelers making noise, drunks fighting, and club music until 5AM local time. Free Wifi offered barely worked, TV did not work, room 404 needs to be refurbished BADLY! If you want peace and quiet or just sleep, don't book at this hotel. If you want clean rooms that don't smell, don't book at this hotel either. I am so disappointed in this hotel but it is Oktoberfest so getting another room without spending thousands is impossible unless we want to stay miles away from the city. I am telling everyone about this experience and creating accounts at hotel review sites just to spread the word.
