“Nice hotel at good price.”

This is a nice hotel, with a good price for Muscat. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Only complaint is the blue light on the TV is really bright and can keep you up if you have jet lag. Breakfast is good, but at 11 Rial is a bit pricey but convenient. The outdoor Turkish restaurants a few blocks away are fun with good food and give you a taste of Muscat street life.

“Friendly hotel”

The Ibis Hotel was friendly with a very supportive and professional staff. The hotel offered a wide array of foods that were available anytime during the day. The rooms were not large, but were adequate with small areas for working. In room wireless internet access was available. The only real down side was the temperature in the room was too low for my liking. A couple of requests for raising the room temperature were unsuccessful. Overall a pleasant stay. I would definitely go back to Ibis.

Brand-new hotel and excellent service, it is good,

“I stayed one night only however this should not be an xcuse for diminishing some of the musts”

cont. like for example jumping to take luggag to the room without even asking. These are some of the negatives however the service at the coffee shop was excellent at dinner ... thogh a bit lagging at breakfast..

“Very clean but small rooms”

Rooms are small but very clean. Located in a great area. Extremely close to the mall. Do not take the taxis that are right outside the hotel. They're used to overcharging tourists. Walk to the main highway to get taxis.

“Simple, clean hotel, friendly staff.”

Simple hotel, convenient enough location (between a business strip of mainly restaurants and on main street side and other hotels and residences on the other), clean and quiet, friendly staff. Glad for the wifi. The room we had was surprisingly small, however, and the staff couldn't provide us with wash cloths for use in the shower. If you want a much better value for money, pay a few riyals more and stay at the Hotel Holiday Muscat, just next door.
