“An 'average' stay.”

Rotana hotels in the UAE are generally above average. The hotel looked great as we drove up, but the reality is that it's a fairly 'average' establishment. We were given an ocean-view room, but had to swap it almost immediately, as the bed broke when I sat on it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but omitted to tell us that the tariff included breakfast until the morning we were checking out. That sort of typified our experience; not great, but certainly not bad.
