Nice hotel for overnight stay

Posted Sep 20, 2014
The hotel itself is in overall good condition and the room was very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so-so but about what you can usually expect. Pool area was clean and refreshing. Only drawback was the area itself felt "iffy", maybe because of construction in the parking lot. Would stay again.

Pros: I liked the easy access
Cons: It was rather noisy outside in the hallway and actually outside my room rather late into the evening
It was an ok hotel. The room was clean and the hotel service was nice... The continential breakfast wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad.. Its a great hotel for the price

All around enjoyable stay

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: More tables in the breakfast area. Complimentary snacks in the afternoon would be a nice touch.
Location: The location is close to the Lake Michigan shoreline, Michigans Adventure amusement park, shopping, and a State park.
We stayed at the Baymont Inn so we could go to Michigan Adventure amusement park the next day. We had three teen grandsons with us. We got two rooms and we were glad we did, as one would not have been large enough. We were happy with the rooms, which were nicely appointed. The pool and hot tub were used by all and enjoyed. The breakfast in the morning was good, pretty much standard. The hotel is in a good area for shopping and there were several restaurants close by as well. The hotel is about a fifteen minute drive from the amusement park. For a holiday weekend, the rate for the room was fair. We'd stay here again.

Nice hotel. Close to shopping and attractions.

Hotel was nice. Convenient location. Kids had fun in the pool. Rooms were adequate size but beds were not very comfortable. Breakfast was okay but area was a little too small during the busy morning times.

The hotel staff was curtious and helpful. The rooms are clean and the property is in a good area. There are restaurants and shopping right down the street. I will stay there again.

High priced but cheaper than other places in town

Pros: Cleanliness of the room
Cons: Breakfast - the current one is a joke
Our room was clean and the rate was the best we could find in the area during a busy week. But if a decent breakfast is really important to you, you will probably be disappointed. Options such as 4 kinds of dry cereal, milk from a gallon plastic jug, and a variety of high carb / high fat microwavable items from Bob Evens Restaurant were the options. Seating was very, very limited, and you would stand in line, hopefully eating something you already microwaved, waiting to use the single microwave again. Oh yes, they had a waffle maker that made 4 little waffles per batch. Yogurt was hit and miss, sometimes it would be available but most times not. Bananas were either invisible or in really bad shape. Our only visits to the breakfast area was to get coffee creamer for the inroom coffee which was better than that which was brewed for the breakfast area and it seemed the garbage cans were always overflowing with breakfast trash. We ended up enjoying a decent breakfast a few miles from the hotel. Sure it cost more but it wasn't a fluff, high carb breakfast. Like I say, the room was clean but that was about it.

Wouldn't stay here again. Went to enjoy the pool and hot tub but couldn't because of 2 different groups of teenagers sneaking in and when I said something to a employee she tried to say they were all employees. The Wi-Fi didn't work.As well as the TV stations. Told the lady at the front desk she said the owner (maintenance man) would come fix it he came down looked at it said he would be back. We waited then called up to the front desk and she said he went home. The beds weren't comfortable at all and and as we were all asleep about 1 am we all got woke up to loud noises above us. Your suppose to get a complimentary breakfast which was just French toast sticks. And they only have 2 tables to sit at.

Pros: Pool and breakfast was good. Rooms clean.
Cons: Pillows
Location: Muskegon Amusement Park. Close to Lake Michigan and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.
Lots of parking. Pillows suck. Air conditioning a bit weak. Was able to park boat with trailer in the lot.
