“Affordable place to put your head down”
The hotel is nothing to write home about. But it is close to Michigan Adventure so when you leave there exhausted, it's like 5 minutes away and a perfect crashing spot. My husband and I and our two toddlers were quite comfortable in the two queen beds. The breakfast wasn't all that but hey, it's something to give to the kids to snack on while we were getting ready to leave. (It's all carb food like bagels, muffins, cereal, waffles, oatmeal, juice and coffee). I heard there was a lounge which I didn't check out and smoking was outside only. There is an outdoor pool and it looked to be a walking path, but again, we just stayed there to sleep only. I would rate this hotel more like a 3 1/2 star, but gave it a four because the staff was friendly.
