AWESOMEPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: The Staff / Location
Cons: No pool service
Location: Awesome !!
Great Hotel !!! Awesome location, 2min walk to Platis Gialos and 5 min walk to the beautiful Psarou Beach where the famous Nammous Beach Club Is. There is also the bus that leaves every 20min to Mykonos Town outside Hotel Argo which is fantastic. Argo is surrounded by heaps of beaches and restaurants and is only 10min bus ride to town. I have to say a special thank you to Photos who works the reception desk.He is amazing !! We Had a girlfriend who had to get home due to a death and Photos went above and beyond to get our friend back to Australia , by changing ferries and booking flights he was a Star.. Myself and Ali had a 5am ferry to catch the morning we left, we were met by the night guard who packed us a hamper of drinks, snacks, sweets and sandwiches for our early ferry. The Staff were just amazing..

AmazingPosted May 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is clean and beautiful, the staff couldn't do enough to help you. Rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast was really nice and a good selection every day. The owner Thanassis is brilliant, he is up early every morning to say hello to anyone who is having breakfast at that time. They also have a restaurant on the beach where you get 10% off if you eat or drink at the restaurant and are staying at the hotel. The food is amazing and portions are huge. Staff are brilliant and friendly. What more can I say but it is an amazing and beautiful place, we would definitely go back to.

Exceptional hotelPosted May 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The whole experience from arrival to departure was brilliant. All the staff were attentive and helpful, the rooms were superbly clean with comfortable beds and immaculate decoration, we had a sea view although the hotel is about 100 meters from the beach and the breakfast was plentiful with a great variation. The pool and surrounding area was spotless. I will definitely be returning.

Outstanding service from the hotel staff. Went out of there way to shuttle a member of my party back and forth from the clinic.

Mind the young Australians!Posted Aug 7, 2012
Great staff. Great location. Good hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was full of young Australians and it seems that this is the case every summer.

Nice location comfortable stayPosted May 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is near Platis Gialos beach. Rooms were comfy and clean. Staff is friendly and they offer free airport/port pickup-drop service. Breakfast was okay, not that great. Bus stop to city center is nearby, You can also hire a vehicle through the hotel for good deals.

Wonderful, very friendly and well run hotelPosted Sep 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
We had read all the very favourable reviews about the Argo before booking and chose it based on them. It certainly olives up to its reputation. Our week came near the end of their season and yet their standards were maintained in exactly the same way as if it had been the very beginning. The staff are really wonderful and do make you feel special. There were people from all nationalities staying and those who were doing island tours (American and Canadian visitors) told us that this was the best place they'd stayed in. The pool is quiet and relaxing and you can have light meals and any drinks from the very well run bar.Our romm had a good view of the pool and the sea.It was cleaned every day with new towels and a change of linen provided. The breakfast is so enjoyable and available until 10. It is taken at tables on a terrace, beside the pool and consists of fresh dishes. Do try the little tiangles of bread with yogurt and tomato with a drizzle of oil and pepper. The hotel is situated a short stroll from the beach which is lined with restaurants. If you prefer a quieter area take a stroll along the cliff at the end of the beach to a lovely little cove which has a taverna which is really reminisent of the 'Shirley Valentine' movie. Beware the little fish in the sea who like to nibble!! Mykonos in September is warm and more relaxing, without the 'club and party' scene and has retained the feeling of the Greek island first experienced by the sixties generation. We will return.
