Great hotel with sea viewPosted Jul 1, 2014
Great stay at the Dorion - the room was much larger and more comfortable (less sparse) than it appeared on the expedia+hotel website, with a private terrace (with sun loungers + sea view) as well as easy access to one of the four smaller swimming pools. Service was very good, including nice small touches such as bringing up a welcome bottle of local sparkling wine when we arrived (only slight point to note was they could have been more prompt with e.g. housekeeping to make up or turn down the room). However overall very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this as a boutique hotel.

As beautiful as the picturesPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was great, the hotel was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. The hotel did not provide any transportation service to and from the airport and it was advertised on the website that the cab fair would only be 5-10 Euros, and it was 15 Euro. Which was a little expensive for the length of the cab ride. But the room was great, the hosts were amazing.

Really nice, location not perfectPosted Jul 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nothing but good things to say about how this place is run. Location bit inconvenient because there did not seem to be enough taxis in Mykonos. By bus a short ride to mykonos town but buses were infrequent and always very late. But staff was friendly and breakfast was fabulous.

Beautiful views, beautiful hotel, lovely staffPosted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: The view, the rooms, the proximity to beach, the staff, the food, the pools, the rooms.
Location: Ornos beach is a family beach with five or six excellent restaurants a mere five minutes away. Te view for the hotel includes the each and the harbor.
This off the beaten path hotel is beautiful, gracious and a true delight. Staff are supportive and caring. Views are spectacular. Of Ornos beach. Airport is 10 minutes away. Mykonos town 7 minutes. Try this hotel I think you will love it.

Superb breakfast & servicePosted Aug 30, 2012
Pros: Friendly service & breakfast & the fantastic view of the bay
Cons: The hand held shower as I'm from Australia & am used to overhead shower
Location: A little out it town about 3km out but easy to get to town by bus
The breakfast offered every morning was amazing. There was a wide choice of delicious Greek sweets, a wide selection of fruits & cereals, omelettes & quiches, walnuts & the most delicious Greek yoghurt as well as waffles & crepes. Best breakfast we have ever had & we have stayed in over 10 hotels since our trip began in August

nice placePosted Aug 7, 2012
The location was very good, nice views. The staff was really friendly and helpful throught out our stay. I really enjoyed the outside space of the hotel but thought the room was very different from the pictures a little on the shabby side without the chik.

Beautiful hotel overlooking Ornos Beach. Easy walk to the beach. The beds were a bit hard for our liking but the room was nice. Everyone was very nice and helpful and the breakfast buffet was the best we had.

Simply PerfectPosted Oct 3, 2011 on Hotels.com
We were looking for a quiet, comfortable hotel in a good location so decided to give the Dorion a try. I really do not think we could have made a better choice! The hotel is situated in a quiet location on a hill site about 200 meters from Ornos beach. Access to the beach and its restaurants is via a pathway, about 50 meters of which is unlit so take a torch for night time. The buildings are in the same style as surrounding housing, and being just 2 storeys means the hotel is not out of place. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well kitted out (TV, DVDs, Music Centre and AC). All of them seem to feature great views out over Ornos beach and harbour. There is one large pool and 4 smaller plunge pools, all of which are quiet and have very comfortable recliners for the guests. Despite the feel of it being a 'boutique' hotel, the place is really freindly. The staff could not be more helpful, such as helping me get hold of a cake and flowers for the room on my wife's birthday. Because it is quite a small hotel the atmosphere is very informal and you are made to feel very at home. There is even a hotel dog (a cute little King Charles spaniel called Emma) who is keen to share the sunbeds with you if you let her! Last but not least is the breakfast. We included this in package and I am so pleased we did. There is a huge buffet choice including cereals, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, bread, and even do it yourself pancakes. Best of all is the selection of local cakes and pastries which tasted great but did my waist line no good at all. I have no hesitation in giving the Dorion top marks and would certainly stop there again.

Loved it!! Perfect!!Posted Jul 30, 2011
Hotel Dorion was by far fantastic! The service by the staff, the amenities, the pool, the buffet breakfast and my room were all fabulous! The only downfall was the small path I had tonwalk down to get to Ornos.. The path is great and convenient, however at night, by yourself it was a little scary.. Otherwise it was a very clean and beautiful and peaceful hotel!! Great views of Ornos.. Just amazing! Definitely recommend!
