Excellent view. Great locationPosted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Location was perfect, pool amazing view, quiet and private.
Location: Close to local port and shopping area. A good walk back to the hotel but car access is limited. Grab an ATV to discover nearby beaches so worth it.
Enjoyed the hospitality and local guidance from Sophia. The views are spectacular especially watching the sunset via the pool deck. Definitely will return although our room type was a little small, it was great value. Breakfast was included and although simple, was perfect to start the busy day ahead. The free shuttle service from the airport was appreciated and we had Dimitrio assist us to transfers to the ferry terminal also.

Beautiful family-run hotel.Posted Jun 22, 2015
We loved our stay at Hotel Alkyon! We were thrilled to have a complimentary pick-up from the airport when we arrived, which was a great relief after a big day of traveling. The staff at the front desk were always happy to offer advice on places to see and things to do and were always very friendly. The room was clean and fresh, although we did have a mosquito issue one night as the bathroom window had been left open. All in all, it was a lovely hotel that I would recommend in a heartbeat, and I will definitely stay here again if I visit Mykonos in the future.

Big roomsPosted Jun 19, 2015
I booked this place not knowing too much about where it's located. Having a pool was important and theirs was nice. The staff were great. Someone met us at the port to transfer us, we also got a transfer to the airport included. The reception gave us a good overview of the island and things to do. Our sea view room was huge and we had the best view overlooking the water and the sunsets. Breakfast was great and there was a lot of choices. The only thing I would say is that the town is a ways away on foot.

check in problems and wee walk to town.Posted Jun 19, 2015
It's a good hotel but it's a wee walk to Mykonos town which is not appealing under scorching heat. It's even worse when you go back as it is uphill so expect that you'd be bathing in your sweat. Wasn't particularly happy with the check in as they had an issue with their guest having to extend one night so they checked us in in another hotel. Had to pack and unpack when we moved to this hotel again which was annoying. The other hotel was less nice and breakfast was less appetising than theirs. We also didn't receive any compliments for the hassle.

Best place to stay in MykonosPosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: friendly service, super clean facilities, excellent breakfast and close enough to downtown Mykonos.
Cons: I think they should at least tell people how much it costs to get a ride to places like Paradise club.. the cab fare was 50$ (25$ each way)
Location: Matogianni street is nearby and so is Little Venice and the windmills. Mykonos is small enough to see all the beaches in a day.
Sophia the receptionist was superb and helpful and pointed all the best areas to go to so we didn't miss anything in Mykonos. Timios the driver was there to pick us up even when the ferry was delayed so I recommend them both highly. We really love the views from the location i.e. away from town so it's quiet enough but close enough to walk to Matogianni street where all the shopping and action is. It's also near a walkway close that leads you straight into little Venice. They cleaned the rooms everyday and I slept well in all those days we stayed. Love how the sheets and even the reception area smelled fresh. Breakfast was superb and i ate lots that i saved on lunch money :) of all the beaches we found panormos the best but Lia beach service was also fantastic.. i dove there and the dive shop was excellent!

Great hotel at the top of the hill with great viewPosted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Lobby is nice decorated, room are comfortable, spacious and of course the great view
Cons: Breakfast, its very average.
Hotel offers free transport from port and airport. Staffs are very nice and helping. We didn't get a room facing the sea because they are fully booked. But they try to switch us to a room closer to the pool with partial view. Every room has a small area outside with chair and table for outdoor enjoyment. Its next to the path that goes straightly to the town. But its still quite a long walk with step stairs, only recommend to go down. Its better to come back with taxi, cost only $5 euro from town center. Nice pool and breakfast area because it overlook the whole harbor and town Mykonos.

Gorgeous viewsPosted May 20, 2015
Wonderful hotel with large room that was clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views with full breakfast and nice pool as well. Slight uphill walk on the way back from town but worth it!
