A wonderful hotelPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The 5 star luxury
Cons: We found there was no privacy when you were in your bathroom and your neighbours were in their bathroom at the same time.
Location: The location is fantastic only a 10 minute walk into town. There is plenty to do whilst in Mykonos Town.
We spent a week at this hotel in late Sept which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is very luxurious and very tastefully decorated. We stayed in a twin deluxe room which met our needs completely. We asked for dressing gowns and slippers for our room which did not come with our room. The hotel had no hesitation in offering us these which was without charge. We even asked for an extra hairdryer which again the hotel provided straight away. We had fresh towels every day and a turn down service each night with a lovely sweet left on our bed. The pool area is amazing, the beds are a little close together, but thankfully the pool never got too busy. The staff were exceptional and looked after us throughout out stay. Breakfast was lovely with fresh food and plenty of tea and coffee. The lunch menu was quite poor, mostly English food we would have preferred more Greek food.

Exceptional in every wayPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The staff were really polite and friendly. Rooms were immaculate with bed linen changed daily. The view from the room was spectacular for the sunset
Cons: Would have liked decaffeinated Nespresso coffee for the machine in the room or a way of making tea. However this was a minor issue.
Location: The pleasant walk to Mykonos town takes around 10 mins. The hotel is in a quiet spot providing a peaceful backdrop for restful sleep and relaxation
We had a short six day break at the end of September and were very lucky that the weather remained warm and sunny breaking on the day we left. The hotel is built into the side of a hill with great views over the sea. The hotel is beautifully designed and presented with a lot of thought having gone into its style. The breakfast catered for every taste with lovely fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt as well as hot savoury food and pastries. The pool and bar area were particularly relaxing at all times of day and evening. We also used the gym which was well equipped. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others especially outside the main hot months of the summer.

Five start accommodation and servicePosted Oct 7, 2013
Location: Must go to Nammos at Psarou and Platis Gialos.
I was looking for an experience in Mykonos which was memorable. The Kouros hotel ticked all the boxes. Although the weather was not always warm the staff made it very enjoyable. There were recommendations on things to do and places to see. It is very child friendly. I will go back again and again. Thank you to Katerina and the team for making us feel very much at home. From the ladies in room 52.

Excellent hotel, excellent view, excellent staffPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: We liked everything! The staff are all amazing, the views are stunning, the location makes walking in to Mykonos Town a doddle.
Cons: ...maybe a few more shelves or drawers in the room?
Location: It's easy to walk in to Mykonos Town where there is a huge choice of places to eat and loads of shops to explore in all the alleys and streets.
From the moment they collected us from the airport to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff at Kouros Hotel.

Great location and wonderful staffPosted Sep 23, 2013
Location: Perfect distance from the town centre. Day trips to the beaches, or simply days lounging by the pool and enjoying the view and the sunshine.
Great location, an easy 10 minute walk into town : just the right distance to get some peace and quiet when you want it. Lovely big room, very comfortable. Staff were wonderful : very friendly, and very attentive.

Mykonos hotelPosted Sep 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel but elevator out the entire time I was there and the rooms were up quite a few stairs. Location was away from town down dark streets. Staff was very nice and lived the free airport pick up/drop off!

Pleasant HotelPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Swimming pool Bar Welcome drink and fruit plate and gift disposable camera and keyring Friendliness of staff Parking ease
Cons: Cooked breakfast could be hotter and fresher Service at breakfast could be more friendly
Location: Well located a 10 minute walk from Mykonos town
Guy who checked me in was friendly and welcoming, offering a welcome drink by the pool and help with luggage etc. Room was very nice, but lighting was a little harsh and table lamp did not work. On reporting the faulty light it was removed without being fixed or replaced until I mentioned it again. View from balcony was very nice, but marred slightly by the view of the roof of the rooms below. Facilities all good, including gym, swimming pool, bar area, reception area etc. However, I was very uncomfortable about using the lift as it sounded very unreliable. It broke down at least once during my 3 night stay. Free 20 minute was a nice gesture, but it was not the best message I have had and could be improved.

Great looking hotel but poor servicePosted Sep 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel's facilities and restaurants were nice and clean and the food was good. However, I was disappointed by the poor location of the hotel - It is on a dirty industrial street, filled with car repair shops and almost no sidewalks. In order to walk up to the main avenue and shops, you'd have cross very busy streets and climb steep dingy side streets. Additionally, the level of service we encountered within the six nights we stayed was spotty and didn't measure up to a 5-star hotel. Although employees were mostly courteous (the concierge was specially nice and helpful), they didn't go out of their way to help you. For example, one afternoon, we tried to hail a taxi from the front of the hotel and there were no bell boys available to go for assistance. After 15 minutes, I went to the registration desk for help. The young man behind the desk - looking downright angry for bothering him - told me that I should go outside for such help. This was only one example of the misses in service level that I found surprising and unworthy of a 5-star hotel like Crowne Plaza.
