AdequatePosted Jul 16, 2014
Room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4pm, given a free drink as a result. Room was adequate but no black out shades so we're basically up at 545 with sunrise. Wifi wasn't that great. Very short walk to quiet beach. Very easy bus ride to Mykonos Town.

Absolutely fabulousPosted Jun 27, 2014
Cannot fault this hotel. We had booked a spa suite but that was not available so we were given a private pool villa - how fantastic All the staff were so pleasant and welcoming and nothing was a problem. The only problem we had was we had to check out and go home at the end of our stay !

Beautiful hotel with wonderful viewsPosted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: We loved the hotel's decor, keeping with the myconian feel all around! Beautiful paintings and lovely furniture. The colour scheme was beautiful.
Cons: We felt that the bathroom needed some updating. Shower curtains don't look great at a hotel of this calibre. Bathtub looked a bit old.
Location: Location is perfect. Platys Gialos has a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters and the town is nearby.
The hotel is lovely with wonderful views of the beach. The pool terrace is modern and elegant with stunning views of Platys Gialos. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly, always there to make your stay even easier. The staff at the reception were also amazing! Helped us with directions, any restaurant bookings and any enquiries that we may have had,was dealt by them on the spot! Always polite and smiling!

A wonderful experience!Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: We loved the views, the people, the food and the atmosphere.
Cons: The prices of the food could definitely be improved. For a place as expensive as this one, you would think they wouldn't charge for water.
Location: Restaurants near the beach are amazing. During the day, there are some places that have "beepers" on the umbrellas for when you need them! Awesome.
We stayed at the Ambassador in early May. The hotel is gorgeous, the food is fantastic and the staff is lovely. The location is ideal, there are so many restaurants nearby and the beach is a 1 minute walk away. The views are beautiful as well! The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. All of them have lovely views! The only thing we would caution people about, we got an amazing deal on this hotel and are so glad we did. The food, drinks and anything really from the hotel is fairly expensive. If you're traveling on a budget this is probably not the best hotel for you. They charge 3 Euros for a bottle of water, which to be honest with a hotel this expensive, seemed a little tasteless. The breakfasts are amazing, the food is unbelievable but we couldn't quite afford to eat there more than once! There's corner stores down on the beach that you can get snacks and other things!

The perfect hotel in the perfect locationPosted May 26, 2014
I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff are friendly, helpful & so attentive. We stayed here for one week & don't have one bad word to say! The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels & lovely Korres products being replenished twice a day. Frequent smoothies, sorbets & cold towels were handed out by the pool to refresh us. It's these small things that set this hotel over & above the rest!

Excellent Staff and Service and lovely hotelPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: The staff, the service, the room, the pool area and the restaurant were all excellent
Cons: The drinks were fairly expensive compared to other restaurants nearby
Location: Hotel was 2/3 minutes walk to a lovely beach, many restaurants within the same distance. Mykonos town only 10 mins in a taxi (10 euros)
Fantastic stay with excellent service from the cleaners to the managers, there were personal touches elsewhere to go with the expected standard of the hotel given the relais and chateaux brand

Wonderful staffPosted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had an amazing holiday, staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and in a great location few minutes walk to a lovely beach with restaurants and bars, short taxi ride into Mykonos Town. Our room had a balcony with sea view and was very clean and comfortable, only negative it would have been nice to have had tea/coffee facilities in room.Would definitely go back and recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing comfortable holiday.
