“Loveliest hotel in Mykonos.”

I loved my stay at the Rhenia. It is so beautiful, set into a hillside overlooking the port. My room was clean and bright, with french doors leading to a balcony that overlooked the port as well. Up on the hills behind the hotel were goats and sheep, and you could hear their little bells in the morning and evening. I loved this! The owners were so friendly, I felt right at home. Each morning they have a huge breakfast. When there are a lot of guests, it's a buffet, but for most of my stay, I believe I was the only person there. They brought me a HUGE breakfast and a french press full of coffee. When I mentioned going to Delos, the owner's wife called to check on ferry times for me. I'm moving to NY at the end of the month, and when I mentioned it to the owner's wife, she told me about a friend of theirs from NY who was an author, and they gave me one of his books to read, and when the man got there, they introduced me. I was on my own for this vacation so I was able to chat with them frequently during my stay, and I have to say, the friendly treatment I got at the hotel was the highlight of my trip. I rented a scooter while I was there and it was just a few minutes into Mykonos town. If you're looking for a lovely, quiet hotel with friendly owners, I highly recommend this one. I am already planning my next trip back.

“Great hotel”

The owners are so kind, hotel has a great location, with restaurants and bike rentals very close. A quiet place for those who want to rest, not far from Mykonos centre. Definitely, if I get back to Mykonos, I'd stay again at Rhenia.

“the true Mykonos "alive and well"”

Experience the true Mykonos within easy access of the "Chora" town itself. This is the Mykonos most visitors miss when you think the island is only known for its great nightlife, great beaches and good food. The hotel provides a tranquil and beatifull setting for relaxation and the re-energizing of body and soul. Most hotels on the island want to be what most visitors want to get away from in the first place. As a world traveler i'm not interested in the latest ammenities and a loud party scene at the hotel. I can do that on my own in town and at the many beaches in this great island. I highly recommend the Rhenia if you want the true experience of Mykonos: great gardens, great scenery, peacefull and restfull enviroment with great attention from Alexandra (manager) and staff. A pleasant and generous breakfast to energize your spirits. I strongly suggest for the management to keep the true essence of Mykonos alive and maintain what you already have in place. Focus on a great experience for your guests and maintain the reasons for coming back to Mykonos and your hotel. The Spaniard and the American...

“Refreshingly accommodating, family run hotel with a great view”

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is clean, modern and well-kept, but at the same time has the feel of being in a traditional Greek village. Views of the sea are beautiful, as the hotel is situated on the side of a hill. It is run by a family that go out of their way to make sure that each of their guests is comfortable and feels at home. Will definitely return.

““Class and Care, a beautiful Oasis on an Island Paradise””

We stayed here for 4 days at this magnificent family run hotel overlooking the bay. A quiet Oasis, perfect to lounge and rest after a day in the sun or a night on the town. The staff's level if service is absolutely exceptional and familial, as if an extension of their home and you are truly treated as a guest in it. The rooms were comfortable, clean, modern, and well maintained with panoramic views at no extra charge! On a hill above the new port bus stop and a twenty minute walk to the main town. Good restaurants close by as well, just out the gate. But no worries, as the staff were quite willing to provide transport if you require. We also rented four wheelers to drive to Paradise beach, which was the way to do it and at night we had good access to town. If you do in Mykonos and stay out late, the cab fare is only about 4 Euro return. Highly recommend to the discerning traveler who wishes a hassle free place to relax in comfort and peace while still being within arms reach of the rest that Mykonos offers.

“Beautiful Hotel and View”

This hotel is located in Tourlos, a ten minute walk to a lovely beach and a five minute bus ride into Mykonos town. It has a gorgeous view and great amenities, including a big, yummy breakfast. Rhenia is quaint and charming with excellent service. We felt like the hands-on owners and staff really cared about our stay at their hotel and island.

“Mykonos best hotel”

Andreas and Alexandra (owners) and the rest of the hotel personnel offered a service that is superior to the American 4 star hotels. My family reserved 2 rooms during the month of June at Rhenia. The service we received impressed us and we are certainly going back to the same hotel in Mykonos next year. The hotel is located near the new port and that is convenient if one gets the ferry to and from the island. There are busses and taxis that will take you to the main town (15 to 20 minutes walk otherwise). The hotel is at a top of a small hill offering a tremendous view of the bay, the cruise ships and the mountains. There is a steep hill that needs to be walked from the main road to the hotel if you are not using a transportation vehicle (many people rent the 4 wheelers that take you around the island). That is, however, a small discomfort considering the superior and friendly service that you receive at the hotel. I am 65 years old and I considered it an excellent exercise walking up the hill ( 5 minutes walk). Andreas will pick you up (or take you to) from the airport or the port if you notify them in advance. Good value for your money. I strongly recommend it.

“Very impressed!”

Hotel Rhenia was excellent! We appreciated the proximity to the port and it wasn't too far from town (20 minute walk or 5 minute scooter ride). Owners and staff were VERY friendly and accommodating.

“Lovely setting!”

Located outside of the main town of Mykonos (about a 4 to 5 euro taxi ride, depending on the number of bags you have), this hotel consists of small clusters of "bungalows". Ours had two separate rooms joined by a foyer and a rap around balcony over looking the harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A very nice restuarant (not part of the hotel) is a leisurely 5 minute stroll down the road,
