We had a beautiful view of the Ocean .The room was very very small. The carpets were very old and worn. The towels were changed and garbage removed every day.No other services were provided.A restaurant is a must for us . It was our 1st trip to Myrtle Beach I would not recommend this resort

The manager, Bill is the best. We only stay at Bayview because the manager allows us to checkout late so my husbae can complete his remote work day. We enjoyed our Spring break with god children & it wouldn’t have been possible if it hadn’t been for understanding people such as Bill.

The attendant that checked us in was very rude and worse ever had to wait forever to get a room. Then was put in front a room Where they were working on the floor it was very loud so I called to get another room and it took over 2 hours to get into another room. I did not have a good stay my whole day was ruin. I don’t feel I got the stay I deserve.

Accomodations were awful! Thermostat was broken, there was no place to sit in the room besides the bed, parking was inconvenient, staff was rude, house keeping came in early in the morning yet my check out wasn't until 11am. Just a terrible experience!

Bay View Resort is very close to the beach. Parking is secure but is a block away from the hotel. Units may be condos with individual owners. The unit above ours had noisy construction beginning at 7:45 am our first full day, and the manager said construction was OK between 9-5. The off-season rates were pretty good.

This property is older, rundown, in a bad area, VERY loud (the building SHAKES from guests!), constant marijuana smoke, cannot even enjoy the oceanfront balcony, screaming, front desk is so rude, salesman in the front lobby always accosting you. Please go somewhere else!

Ok for a quick stay, but room is old and gross. Stains on curtains. Vanity in bathroom water damaged. Shower makes insane loud noise for your room or surrounding rooms when turned on.

Very clean and comfy. Only suggestion would be to build a ramp for the parking garage to the building like you see at hospitals makes it easier or at least put automatic doors on the garage walk entrance to help those carrying luggage instead of having to put down things to open the double doors also for the hotel entrance

My husband and I really enjoy staying at Bay View. We love the location to the beach and it's an easy walk to the board walk and nearby park. Parking is easy and convenient. We always have a great stay whenever we stay at Bay View, it's been our favorite hotel.

This "resort" is nothing like the photos shown on Expedia. The staff in the lobby was rude and unfriendly, acting annoyed at having to check us in. The lobby's strong smell of air freshener obviously was meant to cover up smells that the rest of the hotel areas have and made it hard to breathe. The guest lobby, luggage carts, rugs, doors, and elevators were filthy, and all smelled like mildew and old cigarette smoke. The elevators were shaky, noisy, rather scary, and in obvious need of service and safety inspections. The halls to the two different rooms they tried putting us in on the 2nd & 9th floors were very dark and smelled even worse than the guest lobby. The first room the card scanner cover was laying on the floor and a round plastic wall door knob protector was shoved into the back of the card scanner. The card did open the door, but once inside the room we were disgusted and tried to leave. It took five tries to get the door open, which is a fire hazard! The room also smelled of propane fumes from a fire pit outside below on the ground floor. The walls, doors, and door frames were filthy with brown smudges. It was obvious the room had not been cleaned in a long time. The second room they moved us into was in worse condition and had black insects on the beds. The message on the phone was dated Nov. 2023, so the room obviously hasn't been entered or cleaned since then. There's not enough room to leave the remaining details here on this review. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I liked the option of an indoor pool and a firepit oceanfront. I liked that there is a Starbucks on the property. The room was a little small but the oceanfront view was amazing! The rate was reasonable for the oceanfront hotel and amenities and for the winter season. The parking was the only draw back.
