“We will return”

Staff very nice. Made suggestions to the manager regarding leaving envelopes for the maid's tip. Reported miner problems with room, he acknowledged them and said he would have them fixed. One other suggestion that we can make is that they put garbage bags in the garbage cans in he room.

“Great place to stay”

You get the most for you money. Check in time was 2:00 PM, not 4:00. They had excellent internet connection. It is only a few miles to Myrtle Beach on a main road.

“Good location for CCU and a view of the river”

The hotel was extremely close to Coastal Carolina University, and the apartment my student was moving into, so this location worked for us. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool looked inviting, but the unexpected pleasure was the view of the Waccamaw River! Breakfast was fine, fruit cups, yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee, waffle maker. We will use this hotel again, as my daughter will be there for 4 years!

“Relaxing Days Off”

We were visiting my son at college. We brought our kyacks because the hotel was right on a river. It was awesome. There were only 3 complaints: The first was that the pool was not open. This is May and it was 88 degrees in Myrtle Beach. They did let me lay out by the pool at least. The second thing that drove me crazy was the sheets popped off the mattress all the time. The third thing was the ice machine (they only have 1) was on the ground floor by the office. Even with these inconveniences, we love the hotel.

“It was a nice hotel for the 2 nights which we stayed. Very close to my daughter's apartment.”

Centrally located to my daughter's apartment to which we were there to visit her just for the Labor Day weekend. Weather was great, Beds were comfortable and it was a place to sleep during the busy weekend. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

“SPIDER”

THE ONLY UPSETTING THING WAS THE SPIDER ON THE DRESSER. LEFT ME WITH AN UNEASY FEELIN SINCE WE WERE UNABLE TO DESTROY.

“Great and Cheap”

I've been using this hotel for years. It's not the Omni as far as options, but pound for pound and dollar for dollar it's better.

“Just OK”

Room not clean, saw a sock and a hairpin on the floor! Staff were friendly enough. Nice to have a small pool to swim in after a long drive. Next to a busy main road.

“Beware of Hidden charges”

When I chose Best Western through Expedia, I put my wife, two children (ages 4 &14) and myself as guests and was quoated an amount for the stay. When I arrived the hotel, the desk clerk told my wife we would be charged an addition twenty dollars for my soon age 14 because they considered him an adult. My wife asked the clerk if they gave a military discount but not to retires. So my wife stated that the 26 years active duty and 100% disability from the Veterns Administration dosen't count then what does. The clerk finally gave a small discount for my son.
