QuietPosted May 18, 2015
Very picturesque hotel. Nice if you want to be very close to the water and have a pretty view. Going in May is lovely as there are not many people. Pools are tiny, but quiet, and not too many people at a time, especially at night. Great breakfast too.

Cons: The breakfast was ok. It needs more variety...more fruit choices, yogurt, muffin variety.
Staff was friendly. Great location. Room was spacious and enjoyed the balcony. Great pool and tiki bar.

Our First Week of May visit to myrtle Beach, SCPosted May 11, 2015
Pros: The location in North Myrtle Beach put it away from the greater congestion in Myrtle Beach.
Cons: Parking could be a little more convenient. There was always a place to park but it is somewhat scattered with about seven different locations.
Location: We really enjoyed the many fine restaurants throughout the area and didn't have a bad meal. Barefoot Landing was a very interesting place.
Although the facility was older, it was wonderfully updated and maintained. We commented a number of times on how friendly and helpful the entire staff was, without exception. The included breakfast was always warm, filling and very tasty.

Best Western Ocean Sands Beach ResortPosted May 11, 2015
Pros: The view from the room
Location: We love to go to the malls and eat at the Flying Fish Restaurant
Our stay was good, even though we had to call for clean towels and then I had to go get them. Other than that, the stay was good.

Nice room. We checked in at 11:30 and they gave us a nice bigger room then we were supposed to get. No hidden fees and very reasonable rate!!!

Annex buildingPosted May 5, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was decent
Annex building in essence is a motel. As such its very loud and made it very difficult to sleep. It also is located 4 buildings away from where breakfast is served and 5 buildings away from gym and pool.

Great deal for a Hotel on the BeachPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: We had a hotel on the beach with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. I slept with the balcony door open and could hear the waves as I slept.
Location: We came for the beach and to escape the cold in Maine. We shopped at the Foxy Lady for a prom dress; went to the Broadway area and boardwalk.
My girls and I stayed at the Best Western during our April vacation. The hotel had a private balcony overlooking the ocean; it is located on the beach. We stayed in the Towers building on the 10 th floor. We were given fresh towels daily; free breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, juice, coffee, etc. There are swimming pools inside and outside, an adequate exercise room, plenty of free parking and wifi. We'd definitely return another time. The staff was friendly as well.
