“Off season gem”

Stayed here only one night in late October, as a layover on a road trip headed further South. This hotel is a great value, with a very attractive room rate for an oceanfront queen suite. The room was very small, but did have a full kitchen, sitting area, two (2) LCD flat screen TVs, and comfortable bath. And, it was indeed located right on the ocean, just steps from the beach. The hotel has a split location, with the smaller oceanfront units located directly across the street from the main lobby/entrance and rooms. The oceanfront building also has an indoor pool. All in all, a great bargain.

“Will return!”

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel manager (Dennis, I believe) was phenomenal - friendly, accomodating, and helpful. They let us checkin early without notice and volunteered helpful info about location as well as things to do. The hotel is conveniently located and the staff was friendly. The free breakfast is nothing fancy but adequate. We would definately return.

“Weekend at the Beach”

The hotel is across the street from the beach. There is convenient access to the beach, it just isn't as convenient as being right on the beach. The hotel is older, like most hotels that I have stayed at in Myrtle Beach. But, it is very clean and neat. The bathroom looks pretty new. The area seemed secure. I did not have any problems. the pool area was really nice and the lazy river was fun even for adults. That area of the beach is pretty quiet. I liked having coffee available in the morning, though I did not have any breakfast. They have lounge chairs for guests by the beach and I usually took my coffee and drank it while watching the people walk on the beach. Very relaxing. If I stayed again, I would ask for the ocean front room.

“"Leisurely Fun"”

I was delighted with what we got, especially for the price. Clean room, refrigerator, microwave, indoor pool, outdoor pool, lazy river, full breakfast and, most importantly, ACCESS TO THE BEACH! Hotel restrooms were available right by the beach since the hotel has suites there as well ... nice benefit! Hotel staff were kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to others!

“Best Western, Good Choice”

Was at this hotel mid week in November. Received a free upgrade to an updated king room. The updated rooms are very nice with a flat screen TV although hi-def was only available on the networks and free wireless internet. Also had a mini kitchen for cooking or heating up some take out leftovers. Right across from the beach and only a 10 dollar cab ride from the airport.

Hotel was a little dated but very clean. Bed was comfortable. Pool was nice. It's a decent hotel for what we paid for it.

“Great stay for families”

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and was very pleased with the overall appearance of the room. The site was a little misleading though; the hotel was divided into 2 parts. The ocean front was on the beach and the oceanview part was directly across the street. Please be specific if you want ocean front on the beach. The staff was courteous and helpful. The bathroom was quite small but very nicely appointed and clean(granite countertops, tile floor). I am considering staying here again next year, if we go to the beach. Very pleased!

“Suprised by quality”

I was surprised by the quality of this hotel. I knew I had booked a bargain stay; but this hotel was clean, the quality of the bedding (no holes) and towels(not scratchy)was very nice. The staff was very nice and the breakfast food was very good and fresh. My only complaint was that there were so many people at the small breakfast area it became rather a mad house.
