Not BadPosted Sep 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
One of the best things about the hotel was its location. Hotel is across the street from a small yet entertaining amusement park and water-park. The indoor pool could use some TLC but for the most part not bad for your money . The concierge was very knowledgeable and staff was very friendly.

Run down and dirty -Posted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: The ocean view
Location: Itwas close to the main amusement area and main drag
First thing to greet us was the smell of bleach in the front reception - advertised as a 3 star but certainly well below that. Generally i do not stay at Comfort Inns but the ratings seemed positive and chose to give it a try. however, the room was dingy and not very clean. Furniture was extremely small sized, econo type furnishings and not comfortable at all to sit on. They advertised free Internet and we could only connect the first night and nothing after that. The breakfast area was very small with numerous people trying to get around each other. The wall around the food area and floor were very dirty. The staff were not friendly at all and only a couple of them could actually muster a hello. The door to the balcony was damaged and in need on repair. The entire hotel is in need of a tremendous overhaul. The elevators were terrifying, clanging and scraping noises as they moved. We frequently joked about getting stuck in them. We will not recommend to any one!

Was not at all satisfied with our stay. The room and hotel was not very clean and we booked a room with two doubles and double fold out couch. the couch was only and single and the mattress could not be slept on.

Much Better choices around - vacancies abound!Posted Aug 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Pretty bad place; nice location and nice access to the beach. Pool not bad. Otherwise...weird design, awful rooms, strange bathrooms, small bathrooms. Tear it down and build a nice place!!

Ok hotel- by the beachPosted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Up date the decorations. It felt dated.
Location: Across from the amusement park. Good thing for family.
I do not recommend getting a side room. You will be disappointed. The second night I moved to an ocean view . It was more comfortable and the view from the upper floor was beautiful . The place is older, but the staff are nice.

over priced for condition of hotelPosted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The ocean front view was the best part!! However, the hotel needs a serious makeover. The décor was about 20 years old. The bed was very comfortable. I paid almost $200 for 1 night. It was not like the Comfort Inn's I've stayed in before.
