Loved staying here. My fiance is in the military and he came back home. We decided to take a mini vacation and we loved this hotel! CLOSE TO EVERYTHING! Nice staff too!

Late minute plans for labor day

Pros: Only positive thing was close to Broadway at the Beach
Cons: Needs updating.
Cheapest rate we could find last min. weekend getaway. Overpriced for what you get. Lots of kids yelling and screaming everywhere. Hard to get a lil R & R.

Not what you'd expect from a Marriot

This place was obviously a lower chain hotel bought by Marriott. Unfortunately except for the lobby, they didn't do any renovations...the first thing to notice is the carpeting (dead giveaway). The king size bed was sagging in the middle and the walls were paper thin (needless to say we got no sleep!). I never get a room on the first floor because I am very sensitive to mildew but we were on the third floor and it was still somewhat musty. I might have expected this at a lower chain hotel but with a lower price tag and breakfast included...very disappointed in this Marriot!

The location was good BUT I ALWAYS prefer to be on the beachfront ! Directly across from BROADWAY AT THE BEACH was nice! This was the first hotel I stayed in with no microwave in the room.
