Multiple bedroom with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Perfect for family or groups to have rent on villa.

Must see

Huntington State Park Beach is just down the road and the resort gives out free passes. Brookgreen Gardens is just past the state park and is a must see.

“Memorial day weekend 2011”

“Great Value and Nice Place to Stay”

Recently stayed here with a party of 5. Took the two room suite which was very spacious and clean and great value. Complex was very clean and quiet. Pool was great for kids and always so clean as was the hot tub. Close to a number of attractions so it made it a nice home base. If you like to golf, the course looked very nice and you can rent bikes (very inexpensive). Can also borrow DVD's. Ellington gives free passes to two State parks and the beaches here were beautiful. Only dislike about the place was that there was very little to walk to and there were no sidewalks to walk on. You can access the fitness trail that was in the adjacent gated community, however, it wasn't very exciting. WIFI is free in the room. I would stay here again.

“Would stay again”

We had a spacious two bedroom unit with two and one half baths. It had a full kitchen, dining and living room as well as washer/dryer. Everything was clean, up-to-date and tasteful. Our unit overlooked a golf course, was quiet, and the resort had two pools, a small fitness room, and several activities you could take advantage of if you wanted. We had complimentary passes to two State Parks which were a very short drive from the resort, not crowded, and had ocean beaches. The resort even had beach chairs and bicycles you could borrow daily! All of the people who worked at the resort were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was a mix-up about cleaning and towel exchange mid-week. Overall, we couldn't have had a nicer stay!

Area recommendations

There is lots to do and see in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas. We enjoyed Huntington Beach State Park, Pawley.s Island, and all of the Myrtle Beach shopping and amusement park areas. We visited the local Chamber of Commerce building shortly after our arrival, which was full of brochures and information about all kinds of restaurants, golf courses and local attractions. The woman who worked there was quite friendly , knowledgable, and helpful. Local people were also friendly and informative, and happy to recommend great restaurants and area attractions. The Murrel's Inlet area was another interesting place with many restaurants from which to choose. There seems to be something for everyone in the Myrtle Beach area.

“Wonderful vacation spot!”

This is our 2nd trip to Wachesaw and we would go again! Condo rooms are spacious and very well kept and decorated. Ammenities inside are fabulous with washer dryer, and all kitchen necessities. Pool and golf course are great and clean. Rate per night was very reasonable. Hotel was close to restaurants and all sights. Free pass to state park and access to beach was great too!

Area recommendations

Murrels Inlet is a great spot because its close enough to Myrtle Beach to still get there and enjoy what it offers and also close to great day trips to local attractions as well as Charleston.

“Impressive”

To my surprise the room was awesome. After I'd booked the hotel I saw quite a few negative reviews on another website about the floors being dirty and it being down right filthy. So I lugged my steam mop and a bag of cleaning supplies so I could make my surroundings livable. I wasted time packing those supplies for nothing because everything was spotless. It was very spacious and had a screened balcony that overlooked the golf course. Unlike suites I've stayed in before this one had quality appliances, dishes and cookware. Everything I needed and more was available to me. The hotel has more to offer than a golf course and swimming pool that is talked about under the listing. It has an arcade, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, grills and picnic area, exercise room, fitness trail, bike rentals, and discounts to local venues. Overall this was the by far the best hotel I'd ever stayed at and would highly recommend it.

“"Looking forward to the next visit"”

The stay was very nice and relaxing for the most part. The only problem that was encountered was the noise the patrons above us made when they moved around. Sometime it was like a herd horses running around. Everything else was enjoyable; the pool, tvs in all rooms, utensils and cookware, the kitchen was fully stock with what was needed. The resort rooms were definitely a home away from home. Although the beds were somewhat uncomfrontable, because the matteress are nothing like you have at home. We also used the free pass to Huntington beach park and it was very enjoyable. There were not a lot of people on the beach, it was quiet and very close to the resort. This was a plus for my family because it was my sons 1st time on a beach and were able to watch them with a small amount of worry. Can't wait to return, looking forward to the next with more family members.
