The Hampton Inn Georgetown Marina is located in a lovely waterfront spot, but it’s obviously an older property that needs some serious renovation and redecoration. Our two-room suite was poorly furnished, and what furniture there was appeared to have been brought in from various other places. It was “tired” and would benefit from a complete redo.

While room 109 was very convenient, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows very flimsy. I paid for a waterview room and was very disappointed. That room has a small window with a somewhat obstructed view of the water. Also, there was a landscape light outside the window that shone thru the edges of the room darkening curtains. Front desk staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.
