“didnot want to leave”

my cousin and I enjoyed our stay exremely... we requested to stay additional night..and we were extremely happy when they were able to let us stay Thursday night in addition to our original 3night reservation..I could not use the expeida dollar off coupon because we were going thru the hotel, next time I will have the expedia information with me the boardwalk was quite entertaining and there was plenty to do without getting into the car...the beach was a short drive and of course alot to see on Ocean Blvd. definately a place we would go back to without hesitation. thank you expedia for making this a good vacation and also thank you Hampton Inn for a week of happy memories

“Great location, great for kids, shoppers & bar hoppers”

The Hampton is a very clean, well maintained hotel. It is attached to Broadway at the Beach near the Pavillion rides and a short walk to Margaritaville and many other restaurants, shops & bars. You can't beat the ability to walk to the bars and nightlife and, more importantly, walk HOME. Overall a great hotel!

Area recommendations

Myrtle Beach has something for everyone - great golf, food, shows, beaches, and kids' attractions. NASCAR go-karts and a water park are close by, downtown and the public beach are a 5-minute drive ($10 parking).

“Much better than expected”

The hotel was clean, well kept and up to date. Staff were friendly. Free parking. Microwave and fridge in the room. I stayed 3 nights with my teenager. Indoor and outdoor pools are open long hours, plus jacuzzi and sauna. While we were there, they were hardly used by others, so it was quiet and plenty of space. Location is great for families and adults: amusements, movies, restaurants, shops and nightlife all at Broadway at the Beach in the hotel's backyard....can walk to it all and it feels safe. Beach and airport are only a mile away. Tons of coupons are available for everything you can imagine. Free buffet breakfasts included plenty to choose from: make your own waffles daily, toast, bagels, pastry, two hot choices (ex: eggs, biscuits/gravy, bacon, home fries), cut and whole fruit, cereal, yogurt. Strange: only had sheer curtains. Felt the room was always too chilly or too warm, hard to regulate the temp, but we didn't spend much time in the room, so it wasn't a big deal. I thought there was to be a safe in the room but there wasn't. I could've asked about it but didn't.

“Convenient”

Since we were only there for four days, it was very convenient for us since we could walk back from the bars at night. Our air conditioner didn't work one day and when we called to report it, a new air conditioner was brought in.

“Easy walk to all types of entertainment.”

Would readily stay here again. This complex offers so much, with movies, restaurants, shopping and amusements all within walking distance. The hotel was top notch, too.

“Broadway at the Beach Winter Time”

Hotel's proximity to Broadways attractions was our main draw to staying here vs the Sheraton and we were very happy with all aspects of our stay. You should note, however, that during the off season many of the restaurants close early. The Denim Exchange was one of the highlights of the trip. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Also, dont forget to check out King Kong Sushi (drinks are half price after 10).

“Great Location if shopping and dining is your goal”

Hotel was good for the money, since it was winter this was a good place to stay away from the beach but had lots to do with all the shops at Broadway.

“great place to stay”

There is so much to do at Broadway at the Beach that you forget you are in Myrtle Beach. Walkikng distance to clubs. The beach is about a 3minute drive away. The hotel bed was the best hotel bed I ever slept in. We travel often so that was a great plus.
