Cons: upgrade of the bathrooms
Location: Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Boardwalk, own resort private boardwalk
Very nice hotel for the price. You do have to pay for everything such as parking and wifi, but that is understandable when you look at the price. Overall experience was very nice. Some attendants were not as polite as they should have been, but for the most part everything went very well.

We thought the overall stay was excellent! Checking in and checking out was not good. We arrived three hours before check in and was told we would get a phone call when the room was ready. We knew check in was not till 4, but sometimes rooms are ready early. We did get in the room early, but we had to go back to ask if the room was ready and we never received a phone call as promised. Checking out was not good. We never received a receipt for our stay and we did not know we could pay an additional fee for an airport shuttle. By the way, we never received a receipt for the airport shuttle. We were not asked if we needed a cab or any type of transportation to the airport when we checked out.

Great hotel on the beach

Our stay here was great, and I would recommend it to others. The location to the beach was excellent, and the pools were great for the kids. The only two drawbacks were that the rooms are pretty tiny for a family of 4 for a full week's stay, and the water park portion of the hotel is a good hike away.

Cons: i told you of pitfalls.
Location: convenient to everything and wish we knew House of Blues had live entertainment everynight.
air conditioner was very loud and ran all night making sleep difficult. there was no microwave. there were no grab bars in shower making it unsafe. the mattress was very soft!

Pros: Location, location, location! All the golf courses, shopping and restaurants were great. Staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful. Nice restaur
Cons: Front desk staff could use training on guest greetings and selling themselves. We stayed in Hilton Garden Inn and staff was much better & more helpfu
Location: Golf, Shoping malls & outlets, restaurants for all budgets. Carolina Opry, Priates adventure & activities for children and adults. Lots of beaches
between two "sister" hotels, so guest have access to multiple pools in addiddtion to the beach. The front desk staff was somewhat curt during our check in process. Since we're members of the Hilton Club we were directed to another check in hostess and again she was somewhat terse! Not what is expected after driving 14 hours. The room was not clean with a sticky bathroom floor and stains on the toilet seat which we cleaned. However after this experience & having the non-working closet doors removed, the stay was pleasent. Staff throughout the hotel away from the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful so I would stay there again, but would remind them of my arrival and have them make certain my room is correct!

Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort

Location: Just north of Myrtle Beach proper. Oceanfront. A short drive to shopping and restaurants.
Nice new oceanfront hotel just north of Myrtle Beach. Terrific location, great beach access, and nice pool/bar area. Good restaurants on the property. We enjoyed our stay. There were just a couple of issues. First, the housekeeping service was a bit lax: they did not replace our extra toilet paper; they left our used drink glasses in the room and did not give us new ones; they did not replace the coffee stirrers for the coffee machine; and they did not clean the in-room refrigerator, which was set too cold and caused several soda cans to explode. Second, the food service staff left something to be desired: the bartender at the pool bar was unattentive, and we were also ignored for 20 minutes when we sat down for lunch at the poolside restaurant (Beachcombers?). We received good service after I finally complained. So some lapses in the service, but overall it was a nice weekend.

Beach Zoo

Hotel was packed. Pool slammed, no room to sit at bar. So noisy and loud couldnt talk. Waited forever on elevator. Hike from hotel to parking garage. Room circa 1967 with new paint carpet and linens. No fan in bath. Grout in shower moldy and tile falling off . AC blower so loud drowned out TV. Water compleately stopped in shower twice and tub switch popped out on both of us. Glass door was so streaky and dirty impeded view of ocean. All glass doors in complex hand prints. All in all, not a Hilton class facilty. Not worth the extream price. Place needs a MAJOR overhall. Very dissapointed.

Great staff great hotel with really good restaurant I recommend the buffet for breakfast And you can't beat the private beach and the beautiful ocean view balcony!!:)
