“Great Place to Stay”

We have stayed at Horizon at 77th several times in the past few years and have been extremely satisfied with the overall experience. Great place to stay! Hotel is in a good neighborhood and is convenient to restaurants and major shopping areas.

“Myrtle Beach Vacation”

We spent a week at the Horizons at 77th and had a wonderful time. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was spacious and comfortable with a big enough kitchen and large living room area. The cleaning staff was polite and friendly. The came to change the towels and make the beds every day and kept the room clean. We were over the pool which was a little noisy but we also had a splendid view of the ocean which more than made up for the noise. I don't know when we will be visiting Myrtle Beach again but if we do we will stay at the Horizon at 77th again!

“Pretty nice place for the money”

Was originally put in a room with the balcony directly next to the pool. Lots of kids and no privacy. Asked for another room and they put us on the top floor and it was excellent. Great view of the ocean, clean well maintained. Free parking on site and the beach was a 2 minute walk. No coordination between the cleaning staff. I had housekeeping bang on my door and enter to clean 3 different times within an hour on 2 different days. One of those days I was trying to take a nap and rest up for the night out. Overall it was still a very nice place, just use your do not disturb sign.

Area recommendations

Stay more towards North Myrtle beach. Less congestion and people on the beaches.

“Fantastic Find”

We absolutely loved our stay at Horizon at 77th. The condo (#904) was in excellent condition and the view was awesome. The staff was excellent, the facilities were extremely clean, parking was very good. I really have nothing negative to say. I have booked many trips using Expedia and I think this is by far my most favorite find. I will definitely be booking another stay at this resort in October.

Dining

Check out Sandra's Cafe & Pizzeria on Pine Island Road (across from Costal Mall). The pizza was excellent! Also visit River City Cafe on 21st Ave. The food is always good and the service is great!

“"See you next year"”

My family and I had a great time in Myrtle Beach and at the Horizons. This is our second time taking our annual MB vacation at the Horizons. The service was top notch. For the price, there is no better place to stay on ocean blvd. Last year we did the three bedroom and it was too spacious for my wife and two little girls. This year we did the two bedroom with one king and one queen and it was just right for us. Not to mention it allowed us to save money to use in other fun places at MB. See you guys next year!

Area recommendations

Around the 77th street area. It is more kid friendly this time of the year.

Family-friendly activities

MB has so many put-put and minature golf areas. It was a great activity for our family to do together. It gave us a oppurtunity to laugh and be competitive.

“Will be staying there again!”

We took our 4 children for a family vacation and were amazed at how great this hotel was! We had a 2 bedroom and there was more than enough space for all of us. The staff was extremely polite and very helpful. The room was very clean and had a nice view of the ocean. The pools and lazy river were wonderful. We can't wait to go back.

“very impressd”

would love to go back,my family and I enjoyed this hotel very much,loved the big balcony.Didn't like position of air vents,air blew in my face while in second bedroom while in bed,but would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

“Disappointed”

Although the hotel appeared new, there were was no coffee shop or continental breakfast, snack machines etc. The room was pretty nice, however, the pillows were extremely lumpy and the bed was uncomfortable,as well as, the sofa and chair. The staff was very pleasant and friendly so that was a plus. Don't think we would go back.

“Good Stay”

This is the second time I used the Horizon for a stay in Myrtle Beach. Its a nice place, pretty comfortable and in good location to the beach. The only problem I had with this stay, was the neighbors above made alittle noise late in the evening. Otherwise, it was a great stay.
