“Great place to stay with kids!”
My kids loved this hotel... we stayed in the fall. I wouldn't stay in that area of Myrtle Beach during the busy season, but for the off season, it's a great place to be!
“never again”
never again!
“Good Times”
Very good hotel. Better then I thought before I got there. Lots of poos, hot tub and lazy river! will go back again next year!
“Had a great stay”
We stayed for two nights and had no problems at all. We arrived late but the staff was very helpful with getting us checked in quickly. I would definitely stay here again.
“Somewhat impressed”
Room was not as I clean as I would like, to have a 2 year old to find a pill up under the bed that upset me because he put in his mouth. The shower sprayed out like a sprinkler, I didnt need to water flowers .
“Okay Accommodations”
I was expecting a higher quality hotel for the price that I paid. The hotel was just okay but I wouldn't book there again unless the other hotels that are really nice are all booked. I stayed at other hotels in the area for less money with much nicer accommodations. This place wasn't bad, but I wasn't overly impressed either. The elevators and hallways were extremely hot and muggy. The rooms were comfortable but the air conditioner would not shut off so we had to keep the balcony door open to keep the room comfortable otherwise we would have froze. I visited during 4th of July weekend so I am guessing that is the reason why the price was so high. I can't imagine that the price I paid per night is their going rate. I will certainly plan ahead next time and I don't think this will be my hotel of choice.
“Not Impressed”
Horrible experience - paid for 4 days in advance - left after 2 days and booked another hotel.
“Poorly kept up hotel--very disappointed!!”
Booked online--not at all what pics were like online. 1st day there-clogged drain, a/c unit not working, lamp broken, curtain rod broken, door to balcony difficult to open. Then to top it all off--HUGE spider crawling up wall behind pull out bed. YUK!! Will NEVER stay there again. Complained to front desk, but said could not do anything since booking thru third party. Aweful first day!!
“Discriminated upon............”
I was really disappointed when I check in and I had to put a $100 deposit on my credit card. I was told this was a hotel policy but later found out only certain people were charged this deposit. I am in my early forties and have stayed at countless hotel and resorts and have never been treated like this. The resort was really a nice place to stay but the check in bais made me feel discriminated upon. If I had not heard several people of a different race mention they were not asked to put a deposit on their room the resort would have been a great place to vacation. I would not recommend this resort for people of color. Do not lose out on potential guest by making an assumption that one race is a bad lot..............
“Wonderful 20th Anniversary Stay”
This was a great hotel lots to do, putt putt course at the hotel. Two areas (one across street more for children) and one at the main hotel (more for adults) pools, lazy rivers indoor and out with spas. We had a great time our room was oceanfront and we were able to wake up to the sunrise. Staff very helpful and friendly. Clean pools and play areas. Rules enforced for children would recommend!!
