nice hotel close to all ammenities

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: close to everything yet felt secluded in a wonderful way.
Cons: nothing
Pleasantly surprised at how spacious our room was with a living room and kitchen. Couldn"t have enjoyed it more unless we stayed longer.

Rooms are all adjoining. Needs were firm, family liked it, I didn't. Can hear through rooms cause of door. Underground prkn. Pools mostly 3'. Not much to do in area.

This is a very nice resort.

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room service was awesome. Pool area was geared for children but adults could enjoy as well.
Cons: We would prefer larger beds in the rooms. Our room had 2 double beds and a pull out double size couch bed. It was hard to accommodate our group size.
Location: This was quiet, not busy. We traveled north to play putt putt, grocery shop, and have more choices of restaurants. We enjoyed visiting Charleston.
We stayed at the Summer House here at Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort. Our room was very nice. We had a fantastic view of the pond which was full of turtles. We had a lot of fun watching and feed them. The pool area was excellent. The only drawback was that we were 15 minutes walking time from the beach. The resort did supply a ride to the beach via golf cart if we needed. We were also allowed to drive there and park at the beach house area which was convenient. Overall, I would recommend staying in this area as it is quiet and not crowded.

Nice Hotel close to Huntington Beach State Park

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The location is good, if you want to visit Huntington Beach State Park. For birders, this is a perfect hotel based upon proximity to Huntington Beach
Cons: The mattresses could be firmer.
Location: We went to the Indo, Thai, and Hibachi restaurant which was a 5-10 minute drive and we both enjoyed the food at this restaurant.
This was a nice hotel, with nice pool facilities and very friendly staff. The room was clean and well kept, but my wife and I both found the beds to be to soft for our taste. We both prefer firmer mattresses. If you want to visit either Huntington beach State Park, and you do not want to camp, the resort is a perfect location. It is also very close to Brookgreen Gardens.

Wi- fi needs work

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Beautiful place ...stayed at the Bridgewater..WiFi did not work well and house keeping missed our room one day of the four.... but on vacation, I'm not going to complain about little inconconiences. At A great location. I'm not going to be picky.. asked for extra towels on the missed day and they were delivered immediately width an offer to do the room right then, which we declined... would stay again in a minute.

Litchfield Golf and Beach Resort

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: The pool and beach area were the best features of this resort.
Cons: Purchase new and better quality bedding and towels.
Location: If you want to do things with the family you will need to drive about 30-40 miles. Captain Johns Seafood restaurant is nearby and really good.
The check-in process was painless and quick. The room however was dirty and the bedding was something that was purchased in the 1960s. There was a short in the bedroom tv and it didn't work all the time. It is obvious this resort put all of it's money into the pool and amenities rather than the rooms.

Great hotel. Upscale without the upscale price.

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The numerous pools indoor and the outdoor options. I liked the lazy river and being so close to the beach. liked that their was staff to give towels.
Cons: loved everything.
Location: Grocery store and shopping plaza. There was a bagel cafe and liquor store. Also a variety beach store.
The hotel was clean, well equipped with many of staff always around. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the walk to Starbucks in the lobby on sunny mornings. My kids liked the bike rides.
