Disappointing Stay

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: Front office staff were pleasant
Starbucks closed, lazy river closed despite calling in advance to confirm. Not a king ocean view room , very noisy with parking garage outside the bedroom. Room was not clean, carpet was very dirty, TV had wires hanging out from it, air conditioner was ready to fall off the wall, no hot water, we have stayed before and it was much nicer. Maybe since we were on the 2nd floor it has not been cleaned or updated? Not sure but we will not go back.

Going to need that plunger they left for you......

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Good amenities if they would have been clean and you could have used them with out all the construction going on.
Cons: This palce was huge, keep constuction pationed off from guests.
Location: Hotel did give voucher for 1 free ticket to local aquarium, $25 savings god til end of March.
Checked in and soon as we got to room we noticed an wet plunger in bath room once I tried to move it. Floor also had tiny white specs under open sink area. Did not take long to find out toilet did not work and thoes little white specs were from previous overflows that were mopped into the corners, from house keeping. Bought own cleaning supplies so sanitize floor to keep our 3yr old out of the mess. Toilet would barely flush toilet paper. Tried to get another room at checkin and was told this was the only room type they had.... It had to have 500 rooms in this place and only 40-50 cars in parking deck. Guess the got mad we used Expdia instead of them. Indoor pool would have been great exept construction workers used it to get to outside pool area that was under construction and left the doors open to wheel barrow construction supplies in and out. Warm water from the pool and cold outside air had the pool area fogged up. If you wanted to use the internet you can call their support service ever couple hours for them to reset the router which took 45 minutes. Finally, no need for an alarm clock, off season contruction workers ripping up carpet and laying tile 7 days a week will get you up bright and early. They even worked late at night. Trying to get an nap in was out of the question...

Friendly staff and awesome view

The staff was great. They upgraded us to a three bedroom ocean front condo at no charge. Martins restaurant down stairs has a great breakfast buffet. Best resort in Myrtle beach.

on beach, Starbucks on site,

went during off season. Room good for the cheap off season rate. Room could use some TLC it shows it age. The pool facility indoor was good night staff just needs to enforce drinking while swimming rule. Overall for a quick off season stay it was good. But if looking for the more luxurious resorts I don't think this is it.

Great Beach Access & Great Price

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Great indoor and outdoor pool and poolside activities, right adjacent to the beach. Clean and comfortable accommodations.
Cons: Vending machines were not stocked and more than one did not function properly.
Location: Many shows and activities nearby. Superb location. Drove to Huntington State Park to get a good sampling of a Southern beach nature preserve.
Great indoor and outdoor pool and poolside activities, right adjacent to the beach. Clean and comfortable accommodations. It is clearly well utilized so you can see some where an tear on the exterior (hallways, elevators). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great Winter price.
