Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Be prepared to pay housekeeping fees...not included in the reservation price. No big deal. Just know this.
Location: Lots of shopping, restaurants and close to attractions.
You must definitely check out the MarVista Grande. We had a beautiful view of the pool area, with a lazy river and we also could see the ocean for miles. Our condo was very spacious and modern. The balcony opened to both the living room area and the master bedroom. The kitchen was awesome with stainless appliances and granite countertops, just like the pictures. Our bathroom(s) were very spacious, especially the master bathroom and jacuzzi tub. The staff were very accommodating and professional. There was access to the beach from both sides of the building. The pictures are true....what you see is what we got! The pool area was freshly painted, the hallways to the condo units were clean and lots of windows. I loved this facility and definitely plan to return. It's located close to many attractions, shows, shopping and restaurants. I would recommend the MarVista to all. Also, parking is on 3 levels and it is free....never had any problems. The housekeeping staff checked in with us everyday. I met a lot of nice people....very family oriented also. The MarVista Grande is a jewell in North Myrtle Beach. I plan to go back!

Very nice place. We stayed an extra day! I wish it was closer to everything though. we spent a fortune on taxis.

Very happy with stay, could not have been any more comfortable ! Only thing that would have helped us is if they had provided large towels for the pool. We generally stay at Hotels where they always provide extra towels, here you get a limited amount of towels for your bathing prupose's & if used for the pool it is hard to get towels to bath with. We would definitely stay again & hope to early spring. Thanks for the assist in finding this wonderful place to stay.

We loved our 3 bedroom unit. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and a large balcony to take full advantage! The beach was easy to access from the Resorts pool and/or public access sidewalk.

Pros: Pool area was nice, staff seemed to be around the pool deck monitoring things. Rooms were clean, nicely furnished, and roomy.
Cons: Room assignments, consideration for your guests time, this is a vacation and shouldn't be inconvienced by changing rooms.
We booked this hotel with Expedia for a quick 4 night trip to the beach. The hotel is really nice, our rooms were clean and the pools were nice. While completing our check in process we notice our paperwork said we were set to leave a day earlier than what was booked. When we asked the desk clerk said oh, yeh I should have told you, you have to change rooms on Saturday. When we inquired as to what was going on they told us they always call to inform guests when this happens. No one called us. Hotel staff said it was because we booked with Expedia they had no contact information. We had called the hotel directly 10 days or so prior to arriving to see what additional fees we would be charged, they made no mention of a room switch at that time but were able to give us the exact amount we would owe at check in. We would never agree to change rooms on such a short trip. This is apparently an issue at this hotel in the summer. The day after checking in I was in the lobby and heard another guest come in to see if his new room was ready, he also had to change rooms. The Saturday we had to change rooms we weren't the only ones to move that day. Managements concession to us was to refund resort fees and give us a credit at the tiki bar. We tried 2 different days to use the credit and both times we were told we didn't have a credit. Having to call management both times to make the credit work.

Pros: Spacious, clean pools easy access to beach, not crowded at all!
Cons: Make sure a good walk thru is done on the hotel room before saying it is ok to rent.
I have issues staying in hotel particularly with cleanliness. If I find a hair I have issues the entire time. Although we had a little hiccup with the people cleaning it, they did refund us some money. I am looking forward to our next stay!!! So far the best place I have stayed in Myrtle!!!
