Awesome experience. Staff was very polite. Only downside was the construction so we weren’t able to use the indoor pool/hot tub. We will be back!

Great vacation!
This was a great vacation! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for us, having plenty of room and a great view. My daughter and granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The parking was easy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and neat and the beds were comfy! Thank you , Peppertree for a great stay!

Decent
Average property with decent price for Labor Day weekend. Room was big enough and it had a decent kitchen. Room wasn’t the cleanest with dirty baseboards and hair on the floor but still clean enough to stay. Biggest issue was the pool was closed and that was not disclosed prior to our arrival so we were pretty disappointed about that. Best thing was, they played Grease on the lawn one night on a blowup screen so that was cool.

We stayed here after one horrible night at Laquinta inn and suites on north kings hwy and we made a great choice by leaving that filthy disgusting room and the rude staff at Laquinta!! Peppertree exceeded our expectations in every way and we look forward to staying there again in the future

Everything was great, minus figuring out the TV conundrum for us to sleep. It was way too technical for our taste. Clean, clean, clean! And quaint. Really loved it. A caveat: Make a vocal reservation for an ocean front room. Otherwise, wonderful stay! We will do it again.

No bar/lounge. Plenty of nonsense.
Let’s start with the bar/lounge mentioned on the main page. Yeah there isn’t one. I stayed in room 320. If the place wasn’t screaming for an update, the missing lightbulbs might have been cute. I think the focus here is on rules and fees. (10 am checkout with the threat of $75 fee for being late) Where the focus should be is on maintenance. We get it. Lose a pool towel and it’s a $15 charge. What do we get to charge a Peppertree when the showerhead is crap? Or the battery only smoke detector goes off all night. I was told at the front desk that it was this websites’ fault for misrepresenting the bar lounge issue. That I’m not sure about. Of course the beach is awesome. Of course the place is on the beach. So is literally everything in North Myrtle Beach. Think twice, book once. April at the front desk was quite efficient. I’d steer clear!

The checking process was tedious due to a manage of giving the room key through a selling a timeshare invitation. After hours of driving it’s very inappropriate to the guests

Great place to stay cheap hotel But nice hotel I would most definitely book them again. Only thing I didn’t like was that the chlorine in the pool was to strong and hot tub.

The hotel was great! The rooms are spacious, all equipped with anything you may need. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful… the pool and hottub was fabulous! Overall a very nice experience. The only problem is the early check out. I would like to see that changed to 11 but will be coming back to stay here again.

Apparently there are two different peppertree locations within a couple of miles from each other. I will definitely not be back to this one. Inconsistent messages from staff, via flyer they provide, book in room and actual service they provide. No room service which is fine, but expect you to go from Thursday to tuesday, all weekend with no exchange of towels or beech towels. Also balcony is stand room only cannot turn around on it. Heated pool but freezing the whole time. Indoor pool is located on road side, cannot see beach from there.

Adequate accommodations
The location was excellent - within walking distance of Main Street. View was excellent and there were on-site activities, but we didn't experience any of them. I wish there hadn't been carpet in the bedroom and the bathroom floors/corners could use some extra attention. Plenty of towels in bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Price was good. I would stay here again.

We liked the pools and tiki hut. The beach was very crowded. Its close to main street so thats a plus. Booking through a travel site screws you on being on the beach side though.

Wish I would have booked somewhere else...
First of all, we were supposed to be in an ocean view suite and we were places on the 1st floor without a view. When asked to be moved they said they could not accommodate us for our trip. Second, the rooms were very small and the bedroom made us claustrophobic, barely fitting the bed. Then mid stay, we were contacted by a rep that asked us if we would want to do a 90 minute tour and listen to them speak and then we would receive some gifts. We thought it would be ok to see what they offered elsewhere. Upon arrival we were aked for drivers license and a credit card which was supposed to be for verification purposes only, however, we were never told we had to have a credit card and I gave them a few different ones but they said they couldnt use the ones I provided. After driving there, filling out paperwork and waiting, we were told we could not get in. I was absolutely furious at this point. The hotel was very run down and in need of work. The sliding glass door barely opened and was so bad we went out the front door and walked all the way around the building to head toward the beach and back. Also, they have pools but they were very small. I would not recommend this hotel or the company the runs it.

Matt’s stay during Labor Day weekend!
It was awesome! Check-in was smooth and easy, staff were friendly, professional, and responsive. I got an oceanfront room and it was well-equipped with all the necessary items. The only thing to note was the air conditioning system - the system was very old and it made a constant noise of out of alignment. The air was not cool and it took forever to cool the room. Other than that, the experience was great!

The pics that’s online is not what this hotel really looks like it’s much small…smallest hotel I have ever stayed in…bathroom wasn’t clean when we checked in…wish I could post the pics ugh!!!
